Central Kalimantan Vice Governor: Differences are not to be Debated
PURUK CAHU – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Vice Governor Habib Ismail Bin Yahya emphasized that differences are not to be debated.
“We were created differently with a purpose to know and help each other, work together, and complete one another. Differences are not to be debated, differences are to beautify our life. Why is the rainbow pretty? Because its color is different,” said Vice Governor at Tabligh Akbar Murung Raya Bersholawat at Great Mosque of Al-Istiqlal, Puruk Cahu, Murung Raya, Saturday night (25/1/2020).
Also present at Tabligh Akbar themed “With Sholawat Strengthening Ukhuwah Islamiyah Towards Murung Raya “Blessing”, Murung Raya Regent Perdie N. Yoseph and Vice Regent of Murung Raya Rejikinoor.
On the occasion, Vice Governor also invited all fellow Muslims to strengthen Islamic brotherhood, maintain national unity, and not be easily divided with hoaxes. “NKRI (The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia) is undisputed,” said Vice Governor Habib Ismail.
Meanwhile, Regent of Murung Raya Perdie N. Yoseph invited all communites to maintain a conducive environment in Bumi Tira Tangka Balang during the upcoming election.
Regent Perdie N. Yoseph also appealed to adolescents not to have early marriage which could also lead to early divorce. “Government efforts to reduce poverty 4.5 percent in Murung Raya are difficult because of social problems,” he explained.
The ideal age for marriage, he said, is 21 years. For this reason, parents are encouraged to form their children personality of having a principle or mindset of “going to school first, then getting married later”. (ran/eka/translated by feb)
