Central Kalimantan Governor Inaugurates Administrators of Ot-Danum Community Period 2020-2025
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran inaugurated the administrators of Ot-Danum Community (KWOD) at city, regency and provincial level for the period 2020-2025 in Hasupa Hasundau Hall, Palangka Raya, Wednesday afternoon (02/12/2020).
The main administrators of KWOD that were appointed by the Honorary Board, including Guntur Talajan as the General Chairperson, E.P. Romong as the Secretary General, and Mariani Sabran as the General Treasurer, and 13 Chairmen of the Division. The total number of administrators who have been inaugurated in Central Kalimantan is 666, including Central Kalimantan Provincial level officials, Murung Raya Regency, Kapuas Regency, Gunung Mas Regency, Katingan Regency, Lamandau Regency, Pulang Pisau Regency, and Palangka Raya City.
Central Kalimantan Governor appreciated the community of Ot-Danum residents who have assisted government through its various activities. It is hoped that the appointed administrators will have a sense and attitude of nationalism for the achievement of our state’s goals.
Governor also stressed the importance of building Central Kalimantan without considering any differences, but focusing more on how Central Kalimantan can be well developed and more dignified. “Build a friendship among Dayak tribes. Organizations should not be divorced by political interests. Knit togetherness to build Central Kalimantan and protect Dayak Culture as a tourism force to protect civilization, “stated Governor.
After the remarks, Governor symbolically presented awards to 15 art galleries in Palangka Raya City and to 200 dancers who have participated in Isen Mulang Cultural Festival 2019.
Also present at the event were Central Kalimantan Secretary Fahrizal Fitri, member of the Indonesian House of Representatives and also the Chairman of Central Kalimantan Dayak Council Agustiar Sabran, Ot-Danum Honorary Council Judae Anom, Murung Raya Regent Perdie M.
