Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan: Electronic Catalog Accelerates Government Performance
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Province Fahrizal Fitri officially opened a Socialization and Elaboration of Tools Assessment for Electronic Catalog Establishment of Central Kalimantan Province 2020 in Eka Hapakat Hall, Tuesday (11/02/2020). This activity was attended by, among others, the Acting Head of Goods and Services Procurement Service Bureau, Head of General Affairs Bureau, Commitment Making Officers, and Procurement Officers.
In the Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Procurement of Government Goods and Services, one of them mentions that formation of markets (e-markets) of which electronic catalogs provide an opportunity to encourage local businesses to compete in this digital era.
In his remarks, Secretary of Central Kalimantan said that e-catalog made it easier to find the price / value of the unit of goods / services which is simply similar to Go-Food application whose prices of the food are already listed. On the e-catalog of goods and services procurement, price specifications have been set so there is no need to go through a tender process.
With the establishment of local electronic catalog, it is expected that the process of procurement of goods and services can run well to accelerate the government performance. (may/ben/ran/ translated by feb)
