End of April, Covid-19 Case in Central Kalimantan Has Not Yet Decreased Significantly
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Provincial Government through the Covid-19 Task Force Team presented the latest progress related to the Covid-19 (Corona Virus) case in today’s release, Thursday (4/30/2020).
In this release, it was stated that based on the distribution of maps of People under Investigation (ODP), the largest number is in Palangka Raya; 99 people. While the total number of ODP in Central Kalimantan, namely 369 people or a decrease of 3 people.
Furthermore, the largest number of people with close contact without symptoms (OTG) is in Murung Raya Regency; 266 people. While the total numbers of OTG in Central Kalimantan is 1,109 people or reduced by 7 from the previous day’s number.
Meanwhile, the number of Patients under Investigation (PDP) up to this information was reduced by 69 people or there was a reduction. While the distribution of PDP based on the Regency / City, the number of PDP in Palangka Raya is 27 people (still), the number of PDP in Kotawaringin Barat is 2 people, the number of PDP in North Barito is 4 people (reduced 1 person), the number of PDP in Murung Raya is 5 people, Pulang Pisau has 3 PDP, Katingan has 10 PDP, Kapuas has 3 PDP, East Barito has 4 PDP, South Barito has 7 PDP, Seruyan has 2 PDP, Gunung Mas has 3 PDP and Lamandau has 1 PDP.
The release from Media Center of Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force today also said that the number of positive cases confirmed in Central Kalimantan was as many as 145 cases spread in Palangka Raya as many as 49 people, 20 people are in Kotawaringin Barat, 14 people are in Kotawaringin Timur, 7 people are in East Barito, 4 people are in Katingan, 10 people are in Kapuas, 5 people are in Pulang Pisau, 3 people are in North Barito, 7 people are in South Barito, 21 people are in Murung Raya, 2 people are in Seruyan. Thus, up to date there are thirteen red zones of Covid-19 distribution in Central Kalimantan. The only area that still has a green zone status is Sukamara Regency.
From the data submitted by Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force, it has been observed that the number of Covid-19 patients who are still being treated is 125 people, recovered 13 people, and 7 people died.
