Positive Case for Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan Increases by 8 People
PALANGKA RAYA– PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan Province again released the development of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan today, Monday (4/27/2020). The release stated that the confirmed positive for Covid-19 was initially 104, adding 8 to bring the total to 112. The Covid-19 Development Map in Central Kalimantan is dominated by the red zone (positive case), with 12 regencies and 1 city, while the only area that still has a green zone (not yet affected) is Sukamara Regency.
The red zone status covers Palangka Raya City, Pulang Pisau Regency, East Barito Regency, South Barito Regency, North Barito Regency, Kapuas Regency, Murung Raya Regency, Gunung Mas Regency, Katingan Regency, Seruyan Regency, Lamandau Regency, Kotawaringin Barat Regency, and East Kotawaringin Regency. The release stated that the positive patients of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan who treated initially were 88 people and now increased by 7 people so the total became 95 people.
Based on the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Patient Distribution Data, Monday (4/27/2020) it mentioned there were 3 regions experienced an increase in the number of cases. The number of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19 as follows: Palangka Raya City with a total of 41 people (increased by 2), East Barito Regency with total 6 people (increased by 5), and Murung Raya Regency with total 10 (increased by 1). While data on the number of positive patients for Covid-19 who still being treated in Palangka Raya are 31 people (increased by 2), East Barito Regency with total 5 people (increased by 4), and Murung Raya Regency with total 10 people (increased by 1).
The number of Central Kalimantan Covid-19 patients who are recovered has not yet increased, while the total number of patients in Central Kalimantan who initially died was 5 but now 6 (increased by 1). The increase in the number of patients died came from East Barito Regency.
Patients under Investigation (PDP) are 75 people in total as details: 39 people in Palangka Raya (reduced by 4), 11 people (reduced by 1) in Murung Raya Regency and 5 people (decreased by 2) in Siloam Hospital. While in West Kotawaringin Regency, East Kotawaringin Regency, Kapuas Regency, Muara Teweh Regional Hospital, and Jaraga Sasameh Regional Hospital, the PDP data have no change compared to the previous day.
People under Investigation (ODP) are 354 people or reduced by 6 people from the previous day. The largest number is in Palangka Raya; 81 people. While 882 people (Close Contact Without Symptoms (OTG)) increased, most number is in South Barito Regency; 239 people.
Governor Sugianto Sabran constantly appealed and reminded all Central Kalimantan people to always keep their distance, do social distancing and physical distancing, keep healthy and clean living habits, wash their hands as often as possible with soap, keep on using masks, obey the ethics of coughing and sneezing by covering up nose and mouth, and if getting sick then immediately go to the health center or to the nearest doctor or hospital.
