All Regencies and City in Central Kalimantan Show Red Zone Status
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Map of the distribution of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan Province today, Monday (04/05/2020) shows that all regions are already in the Red Zone from the fact that Sukamara District was before the only Regency in the green zone. The Central Kalimantan Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 has released 1 positive case in Sukamara Regency.
Therefore, this number also increased the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan to 180 people (an increase of 23 people from yesterday’s 157 people). Details of COVID-19 positive cases according to distribution data by Regency / City compared to yesterday: Palangka Raya 51 people (increased 1 person), West Kotawaringin 27 people (increased 7 people), East Kotawaringin 16 people (still), East Barito 7 people (still) , Katingan 10 people (still), Kapuas 12 people (increased 1 person), Pulang Pisau 5 people (still), North Barito 3 people (still), Murung Raya 32 people (added 9 people), Seruyan 2 people (still), South Barito 9 people (increased 2 people), Lamandau 3 people (increased 1 person), Gunung Mas 2 people (increased 1 person), and Sukamara 1 person.
The number of patients being treated is 157 people. The number of patients recovered is 16 people with the details: 9 people in Palangka Raya, 2 people in West Kotawaringin, 2 people in East Kotawaringin, 1 person in East Barito, 1 person in Katingan, and 1 person in Pulang Pisau. The number of deaths is 7 people: in Palangka Raya (2 people), East Kotawaringin (2 people), East Barito (1 person), and Kapuas (2 people).
Meanwhile, the number of persons under investigation (ODP) is 389 people (a decrease of 9 people from yesterday’s 398 people) and the highest number was in Palangka Raya as many as 134 people. The number of people with close contact without symptoms (OTG) as many as 1,403 people and the highest number is in the Regency of Murung Raya as many as 372 people.
The total number of patients under investigations (PDP) is 54 people with progress based on regency / city: 19 people in Palangka Raya, 1 person in North Barito, 2 people in Pulang Pisau, 6 people in Katingan, 5 people in Kapuas, 4 people in East Barito, 7 people in South Barito, 2 people in Seruyan, 7 people in Gunung Mas, and 1 person in Lamandau.
The confirmation data of COVID-19 laboratory results examined by RT PCR were 647 people with details of the examination results showing positive cases are 180 people, negative cases are 257 people, and being examined as many as 200 people.
The map of Central Kalimantan in the red zone indicates the needs of collaboration between all levels of society to break the chain of COVID-19 virus transmission. Let’s not be tired of following the government’s recommendations to maintain personal health, wash our hands as often as possible with soap in running water or use hand sanitizers, keep our distance, try to stay at home, wear masks when really forced to leave the house, and don’t go home/homecoming during this pandemic.
