Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Achieved Unqualified Opinion
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran along with Vice Governor Habib Ismail bin Yahya, Monday (06/15/2020) attended Special Plenary Meeting in Central Kalimantan House of Representatives Office in order to submitting Examination Reports (LHP) for Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Financial Report for 2019 fiscal year.
The member VI of BPK RI Haris Azhar Azis via online stated that the financial report of Central Kalimantan provincial government for 2019 fiscal year won an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) in accordance with the report on the audit results from Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia.
“BPK RI on the Examination Results Report on the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government’s Financial Report for 2019 fiscal year won an Unqualified Opinion (WTP),” said Haris Azhar Aziz, Member VI of BPK RI.
The Chairperson of Central Kalimantan House of Representatives Wiyatno in his remarks conveyed that the financial management of the Central Kalimantan regional government has achieved good management so that it has won the WTP opinion.
“On behalf of the board leadership, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all parties who have cooperated in preparing good financial reports,” Wiyatno said.
Meanwhile, Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran said that he would immediately implement the BPK RI’s recommendation on the Examination Report on the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government’s Financial Report for 2019 fiscal year which won the WTP opinion.
“I instruct to all levels of ranks and officials to manage their finances and assets well and accountably and not be complacent about the achievements of WTP opinion. This is a form of accountability to the people,” said H. Sugianto Sabran.
The unqualified opinion is achieved by taking into account Government Accounting Standards (SAP), adequacy of disclosure, compliance with laws and regulations, and the effectiveness of the internal control system.
This Special Plenary Meeting was attended by the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan, Chairperson of the Provincial House of Representatives along with the Deputy Chairperson and 30 members of the council, Regional Commander of 102 / Panju Panjung, the Deputy Chief of Central Kalimantan Police, Head of the High Court, and the Chief Representative of BPK RI in Central Kalimantan.
