Provincial Secretary Along With Regional Chief of Police and Military Commander Distribute Masks to Public
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Fahrizal Fitri together with Regional Chief of Police Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo and Military Commander 102 / Panju Panjung Brigadier General Purwo Sudaryanto and his ranks, held social assistance activities of the masks distribution in order to comply with health protocols particularly in Central Kalimantan province, Wednesday (03/02/2021).
Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri revealed that this activity was a collaboration between Regional Police, Military Command, and Provincial Government to jointly distribute masks in order to socialize and raise awareness to whole community.
“We really hope by going directly to the public, our appeal can really be heard by the public, and we also want people’s independent participation to be even stronger, so it can break the chain of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan, especially in Palangka Raya,” he said.
On the same occasion, the Regional Chief of Police of Central Kalimantan Province Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo said that the distribution of masks was carried out simultaneously at the provincial to regency / municipality level.
“We hope these masks can actually be distributed to people in need at several predetermined locations. For Palangka Raya, today there are 3 teams that will distribute the masks,” he said.
Furthermore, the Regional Chief of Police said that masks are one of the instruments used to break the Covid-19 chain. This is a direct order from the President, Indonesian Armed Forces Commander, Chief of Indonesian National Police, and also the Governor asking the Regional Chief of Police and Military Commander as the spearheads to distribute masks to the public.
“We are obliged to comply with health protocols in a disciplined manner, one of which is to wear mask for every activity outside home. Then also wash your hands using soap in running water or using hand sanitizer. By complying with these health protocols, we hope to break the chain of Covid-19 spread, especially in Central Kalimantan Province,” concluded Central Kalimantan Regional Chief of Police.
The masks distributed are a contribution from the Provincial Government, Military Command, and Regional Police, totaling 150 thousand, and will be distributed from today for the next 10 days.
The locations targeted for the distribution of masks were divided into 3 teams, namely Team I at Pasar Besar – Jl. A.Yani – Jl. Darmo Sugondo – J. Murjani – Jl. Diponegoro. Team II at Jl. RTA Milono – Kahayan Market – Shops Jl.Yos Sudarso – Shops Jl. Tjilik Riwut. And, Team III at Rajawali Market – Jl. Rajawali – Jl. Beliang – Jl. Sanggabuana – Jl. Kinibalu – jl.
