Results of Risk Assessment of Increased Cases of Covid-19 Spread, Central Kalimantan is in Orange Zone
 PALANGKA RAYA – ADMINISTRATION LEADERSHIP BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team delivered a press release on the progress of handling the Covid-19 pandemic on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team delivered the results of risk assessment of increased cases of Covid-19 spread, according to the release of Bersatu Lawan Covid-19 application, Central Kalimantan Province is at Medium Risk (Orange Zone) with a score of 2.06 affected status.
The details of the risk scoring results for the increased cases in Regencies / Municipality are as follows, high risk or red zone is 1 Municipality, namely:
1)Â Â Â Â Palangka Raya with score of 1,64, affected status.
Medium risk or orange zone in 12 regencies:
1)Â Â Â Â Gunung Mas Regency with score of 1,9, affected status;
2)Â Â Â Â Kapuas Regency with score of 2,03, affected status;
3)Â Â Â Â West Kotawaringin Regency with score of 2,06, affected status;
4)Â Â Â Â Lamandau Regency with score of 2,07, affected status;
5)Â Â Â Â East Barito Regency with score of 2,08, affected status;
6)Â Â Â Â Sukamara Regency with score of 2,1, affected status;
7)Â Â Â Â Pulang Pisau Regency with score of 2,17, affected status;
8)Â Â Â Â East Kotawaringin Regency with score of 2,19, affected status;
9)Â Â Â Â Murung Raya Regency with score of 2,19, affected status;
10)Â Â Â Â South Barito Regency with score of 2,22, affected status;
11)Â Â Â Â North Barito Regency with score of 2,33, affected status; dan
12)Â Â Â Â Katingan Regency with score of 2,34, affected status.
Low risk or yellow zone is 1 regency:
Seruyan Regency with score of 2,46, affected status.
No cases or green zone is 0 Regency/ Municipality.
Taking into account the results of the risk assessment as stated, the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team confirmed that based on Instruction of the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Chairperson Number 01 / GT-COVID19 / VI / 2020 of 11 June 2020 on Guidelines for Establishing a New Life Order for Productive and Safe Society from Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan Province, then:
a. Municipality of Palangka Raya, its scoring result is in High Risk Zone – Level 4 (Red Zone); it is not recommended to implement a New Life Order.
b. Gunung Mas Regency, Kapuas Regency, West Kotawaringin Regency, Lamandau Regency, East Barito Regency, Sukamara Regency, Pulang Pisau Regency, East Kotawaringin Regency, Murung Raya Regency, South Barito Regency, North Barito Regency, and Katingan Regency; their scoring results are in Zone Medium Risk – Level 3 (Orange Zone), so the New Life Order period is recommended to be implemented on limited basis.
c. Seruyan Regency, its scoring results is in Low Risk Zone – Level 2 (Yellow Zone).
d. No Regencies / Municipality are in No Case Zone (Green Zone).
Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team emphasized to all Regents / Mayor to continue paying attention to this recommendation for the health and safety of the people in each Regency / Municipality and asked them to continuously improve synergy efforts to end the spread of Covid-19 so that all regencies / municipality in Central Kalimantan can be soon in green zones.
Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team conveyed the accumulated amount of data as of Tuesday, February 16, 2021, there are 50 patients confirmed positive for Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan with a total of 12,851 cases. 88 patients were stated healed with a total of 11,574 cases. And the total number of patients stated dead increased by 2 people as many as 340 people or with a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) mortality rate of 2.6%.
In this press release, again the progress of Covid-19 data was conveyed of which 13 regencies and 1 municipality have been affected. In the confirmation case, there were an additional of 50 people, namely 9 people in Palangka Raya, 7 people west Kotawaringin, 3 people in Kapuas, 16 people in Gunung Mas, 5 people in East Barito, 1 person in North Barito, and 9 people in Murung Raya, so that from the initial number of 12801 people increased to 12851 people. There were an additional of 88 people healed, namely 16 people in Palangka Raya, 3 people in Katingan, 2 people in East Kotawaringin, 18 people in West Kotawaringin, 2 people in Lamandau, 2 people in Pulang Pisau, 22 people in Gunung Mas, 4 people in South Barito, 2 people in East Barito, 4 people in North Barito, and 13 people in Murung Raya, so that from the initial 11486 people increased to 11574 people. In the suspected case, there were an additional of 70 people, so that from the initial 146 people increased to 216 people. While there was no increase in Probable case, so it remains 65 people. There was a decrease of 40 people for patients under treatment, so that from the initial 977 people decreased to 937 people.
Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team reminded all Central Kalimantan people to always comply with health protocols and break the chain of distribution of Covid-19.
