Provincial Secretary and Regional Leadership Coordination Forum Inspect Central Kalimantan-South Kalimantan Border Post in Kapuas
EAST KAPUAS – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Fahrizal Fitri together with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum directly visited the Lockdown Post at the border between Central Kalimantan Province and South Kalimantan Province which is located in Anjir Serapat Timur Village, East Kapuas District, Kapuas Regency on Tuesday (11/05/2021).
Members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum who conducted the inspection with the Provincial Secretary, namely the Chairman of the Central Kalimantan House of the Representatives Wiyatno, Regional Police Chief Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, and Regional Military Commander 102 / Pjg Brigadier General Purwo Sudaryanto. Also participating in the entourage were Head of Regional Intelligence Agency Brigadier General TNI Sinyo, Head of the Public Order Enforcers I. Sangkai, and Acting Head of the Transportation Office Yulindra Dedy.
The inspection of the confinement post at the Central Kalimantan-South Kalimantan border was also accompanied by the Vice Regent of Kapuas H.M. Nafiah Ibnor and Regional Leadership Coordination Forum members of Kapuas Regency as well as the relevant regional apparatus, including the Head of the Transportation Office, the Head of the Health Office, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency.
The inspection was carried out in order to observe directly the preparedness and situation of guarding the Homecoming Blockage Post at Trans Kalimantan Road in the border area of Central Kalimantan-South Kalimantan Province. The previous day, Monday (10/05/2021), the Provincial Secretary and Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Central Kalimantan also visited Post at the sea port and H. Asan Sampit Airport, Kotawaringin Timur Regency.
In the interview after the inspection, Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri explained that in order to pass into Central Kalimantan, travelers must meet various requirements according to the provisions set by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. “The officers will do it, if they do not meet the travel requirements, they will be told to return,” said Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri.
Furthermore, the Provincial Secretary also hopes that all people can understand that this policy of tightening border insulation was solely carried out by the Government as an effort to prevent a potential spike in Covid-19 cases, especially due to the increased mobility after Eid.
“So, we hope this policy can be understood in order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan,” concluded the Central Kalimantan Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri.
Ending up the inspection, the Provincial Secretary and Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Central Kalimantan gave some parcels as forms of concern to a number of joint personnel who were in charge of guarding the Blockage Post and then returned to Palangka Raya. On the way, the Provincial Secretary together with the Regional Police Chief, Regional Military Commander, and Head of Intelligence Agency also stopped by to hand over some parcels to the Guard Post officers in Pulang Pisau Regency.
