Provincial Secretary Inspects Sea Ports and Airport in Sampit
SAMPIT – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Fahrizal Fitri together with Regional Military Commander 102 / Pjg Brigadier General Purwo Sudaryanto, Regional Chief of Police Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo, Head of High Prosecutor Iman Wijaya, and Chairman of Regional Intelligence Agency Brigadier General Sinyo visited the Command Post at sea ports and H. Asan Sampit Airport, East Kotawaringin Regency, Monday (10/05/2021).
Also present in this inspection, among others, Regent of East Kotawaringin Halikinnor, East Kotawaringin Vice Regent Irawati, Chief of County Police AKBP Abdoel Haris Jakin, District Military Commander 1015 / Sampit Lt. Col. Czi Akhmad Safari.
Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri revealed that the inspection was carried out at posts which are the centers for the entry and exit of people in East Kotawaringin Regency, namely at sea ports and airports.
“At the sea port, since the determination of the schedule for isolating going home for this Eid, there is no schedule for ship departure or arrival. It is also the same at H. Asan Airport, there are no more flights, either entering or leaving East Kotawaringin,” he explained.
This objective is in order to restrain the movement of people who will go home. “Because it is our national policy that there is no homecoming. This is in order to prevent a wide spread of Covid-19,” he said.
In addition, the Provincial Secretary also expressed his hope that the case of Covid-19 confirmation in East Kotawaringin Regency could decrease further. “Currently, East Kotawaringin is ranked 3rd in Central Kalimantan, the first one is Palangka Raya and the second is West Kotawaringin Regency. This should be of our concern, so that the spread will not explode after this Eid Al-Fitr,” said Provincial Secretary Fahrizal Fitri. (win/eka/translated by feb)
