Introduction to Cooperation on Weather Modification Technology, Central Kalimantan Province Receives Visit of Romanian Delegation
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan received a visit from Romanian delegation in Palangka Raya in order to introduce investment cooperation related to weather modification technology to support the Food Estate program as well as potential trade opportunities in Central Kalimantan. The meeting which was attended by Governor Sugianto Sabran, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo, and related staff took place in the Meeting Room of Central Kalimantan Governor’s Office, Thursday (03/06/2021).
This meeting is a follow-up meeting between the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Honorary Consul in Constanta, Romania.
The delegation from Romania is a team of experts from the Romanian Company, namely IAA, where this company is a company engaged in waste management, water management, and weather modification.
The Delegation Team from Romania consisted of H.E. Tanasa Dumitru who is also the head of delegation who has the position of President of the Romanian Workers’ Confederation and IAA Company Expert Teams, namely Doeu Dorian, Eduard Popescu, and Razvan Mihaelescu.
In the ongoing talks, the Romanian delegation offered cooperation in the fields mentioned above, but it may expand the possibility of cooperation in other fields other than the three areas that have been offered, later adapted to the needs and agreements of the two countries (Romania and Indonesia).
Governor also expressed his wish that this cooperation can be carried out properly, how to overcome the weather problem in Central Kalimantan in good implementation of the Food Estate program. At the end of the discussion, the Romanian delegation invited the Indonesian government in this case is Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to visit Romania. The technical matters, including the training of the technical team from Central Kalimantan to Romania, will be discussed and determined later.
The meeting ended with the giving of a plaque from Central Kalimantan Provincial Government as a souvenir to the Romanian delegation. (sop/dew/boy/translated by feb)
