Acting Secretary Opens Coordination Meeting on Village-Owned Enterprises in Central Kalimantan 2021
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin attends the opening of Coordination Meeting on Village-Owned Enterprises in Central Kalimantan 2021 online in Vice Governor’s Meeting Room, Thursday (12/8/2021).
Governor in his speech read by Acting Provincial Secretary gave his directions to all elements of society who are being affected by Covid-19 and during the implementation of PPKM Level 4 to continue complying with health protocols. Governor emphasized that PPKM Level 4 policy that was taken at this time was not intended to make it difficult for the community, but to protect all elements of society in Central Kalimantan. “Covid-19 pandemic has made business actors, including Village-Owned Enterprises, got through economic difficulties and exposed to various other social impacts,” said Governor.
For this reason, Village-Owned Enterprises that already have a legal entity certificate can run potential businesses from their respective villages which have also been approved by Village Deliberation as part of the village economic institution. Village-Owned Enterprises must also contribute together with stakeholders in the village and play a role as one of the front lines in handling Covid-19.
“For the administrators and managers of Village-Owned Enterprises, they must remain pioneers in maintaining and developing the economy of rural communities, and must be able to turn the existing challenges into opportunities for the sustainability of Village-Owned Enterprises in their respective regions,” said Governor.
During the opening of the Coordination Meeting, the winners of the best 10 Village-Owned Enterprises were also announced based on the type of business, business capital, turnover per month, profit per month, turnover per month, contributions to the village, and awards received.
At the end of his remarks, Governor appealed to work hand in hand and synergize during Covid-19 pandemic, move all aspects to develop the economy and welfare of rural communities.
