Attending Video Conference on The Commemoration of The 93rd Youth Pledge Day, Vice Governor is Proud of Three Youths from Central Kalimantan Receive Awards at National Level
KUALA PEMBUANG – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo attended the Commemoration of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day 2021 at the National Level via video conference from the Hall of Seruyan Regent’s Office, Kuala Pembuang City on Thursday (28 /10/2021). This agenda was carried out by the Vice Governor after leading the Commemoration Ceremony of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day of Central Kalimantan Province.
Also being present accompanying the Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan were the Governor’s Expert Staff for Social Affairs and Human Resources Herson B. Aden, Head of the Youth and Sports Office Falery Tuwan, Head of the Regional Government and Autonomy Bureau Akhmad Husain, and Acting Head of the Executive Administration Bureau Indra Wiratama.
The peak of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day Commemoration was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo from Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java Province. This activity was attended virtually via video conference by the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia Zainudin Amali from TVRI Studio Jakarta and the Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, leaders of Ministries/Institutions, and Provincial/Regency/Municipality Governments from their respective places.
In the series of the 93rd National Youth Pledge Day Commemoration, a number of awards were announced for outstanding youths in Indonesia. There were 3 youths from Central Kalimantan who received the National award, 2 youths for the Pioneer Youth category, namely Ismi Mawaddah Aditya Putri at the 3rd Rank for Pioneering Education, Muhammad Isro Wahyudin at the 2nd Rank for Pioneering Natural Resources, Environment, and Tourism, and Andrew Ananda Brule for Great Youth category.
In the interview session after attending the video conference, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo conveyed his congratulations and expressed his pride for the achievements of the young men and women from Central Kalimantan. “We also congratulate the youths from Central Kalimantan who have succeeded in becoming Pioneer Youth,” said the Vice Governor.
“Well, I think it is very good for us in Central Kalimantan that our youths really make a contribution, they can be counted as Pioneer Youth (and) Great Youth at the national level,” added Vice Governor Edy Pratowo.
The Vice Governor also assessed that this achievement could motivate other youths in Central Kalimantan not to stop being creative and innovative, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Vice Governor believes that as long as there is a strong will and determination, the youths will be able to overcome various obstacles and be able to achieve success.
“I think this is also a motivation for other youths in Central Kalimantan not to give up, never get tired of being creative and innovative, and then also being able to follow in the footsteps of young people who have made innovations in their respective fields,” said the Vice Governor.
In particular, the Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan also expressed his hopes through the momentum of this Youth Pledge Day Commemoration. “We wish you a Happy 93rd Youth Pledge Day. We hope that at the age of 93, we commemorate Youth Pledge Day, the role of youths will be more real in order to develop innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship to welcome a better, more advanced Indonesia in the future,” hoped Vice Governor Edy Pratowo.
