Innovation Amidst Pandemic, Central Kalimantan Government Launches SI-PEKA: Website-Based Application
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, through Bureau for General Affairs of Central Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, developed a website-based application for Office Service System (SI-PEKA) which was officially launched by the Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo at Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Wednesday (6/10/2021).
SI-PEKA is a website-based application innovation to respond to changes so that the management of meeting room infrastructure or meeting rooms and operational vehicles is well integrated and the public services provided are more open, easy, and accessible to the public. SI-PEKA can be accessed through www.sipeka-kalteng.com.
While reading the remarks of the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo revealed that the SI-PEKA application is a real effort to answer the challenges of the times, by providing innovative and responsive bureaucratic services, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic which limits people’s mobility and interaction.
“This application is a good breakthrough from the Bureau for General Affairs to create an information system for the use of digital technology-based facilities and infrastructure that is integrated, easily accessible, accurate, and comprehensive,” said Vice Governor.
The Vice Governor expressed his appreciation to the Bureau for General Affairs for improving service quality. “I feel proud, appreciate, and fully support the efforts of the theBureau for General Affairs to continue to improve the quality of its services, especially in the field of public services for all Regional Apparatus and vertical agencies in the Central Kalimantan region,” he said.
In addition, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo hopes that other Regional Apparatuses will be more motivated to improve their services with the launching of SI-PEKA. “Hopefully the launching of SI-PEKA application from the Bureau for General Affairs can further boost the spirit of all levels of Regional Apparatus in an effort to build innovative and responsive bureaucratic services in order to make Central Kalimantan become more BERKAH,” said Vice Governor.
Meanwhile, Head of the Bureau for General Affairs Lisda Arriyana said that the launching of SI-PEKA website is one of the efforts to realize good governance through bureaucratic reform in accordance with the third mission of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2021-2026.
“The implementation of SI-PEKA is based on the 2021-2026 RPJMD which is realizing good governance through bureaucratic reform,” explained the Head of the Bureau for General Affairs.
Present at this event, among others, were the Chair of Bank Indonesia for Central Kalimantan Representative Office, Rihando, President Director of PT Bank Kalteng Yayah Diasmono, Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Provincial Secretary Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, Head of Bureau for General Affairs Lisda Arriyana, and several Heads of Regional Apparatus and Representative Agencies.
