Vice Governor Attends Audience on Public Service
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo attended an Audience with the Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of PANRB and the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan, Tuesday (19/10/2021), at Eka Hapakat Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya.
Also present to accompany the Vice Governor were the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency Kaspinor, Head of the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Services Suhaemi, Acting Head of the Population and Civil Registration Office Akhmad Husain, and Acting Head of Organization Bureau Ahmad Toyib.
In his remarks, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo explained that in an effort to improve the quality of public services as mandated by Law Number 25 of 2009 on Public Services, especially within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, the concept of regional development in Central Kalimantan Province is in line with the vision of Central Kalimantan “BERKAH” which is an acronym of Dignified, Beautiful, Religious, Strong, Trustworthy, and Harmonious.
“The Central Kalimantan BERKAH framework is aimed at realizing a dignified and harmonious society and region in the process of building a strong community and beautiful region, based on religious communities and a trustworthy government as the basic capital for the development in Central Kalimantan,” he said.
Furthermore, the Vice Governor conveyed, related to the 2021 Public Service Evaluation, the Central Kalimantan Provincial PMPTSP and SAMSAT became the evaluation loci which were carried out by the Desk Evaluation on September 1, 2021. It is hoped that there will be an increase in service quality at these 2 loci.
Then, related to the public service innovation, Central Kalimantan Provincial Government has participated in the Public Service Innovation Competition (SINOVIK) organized by the PANRB Ministry, with the Organization Bureau as the Local Admin of the Regional Government who will manage the proposed innovation of public services within the Regional Government.
“We can also convey that basically the Provincial Government in order to improve public services is always trying well, coordinating with all stakeholders starting from the ranks of the Provincial Government together with the Regency / Municipality Governments,” said Vice Governor Edy Pratowo.
Meanwhile, Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of PANRB Diah Natalisa said that since 2017, the Ministry of PANRB has built a Public Service Index (IPP) to measure the performance of public services within Ministries/Agencies and Local Governments in Indonesia. The assessment is carried out based on 6 aspects, namely Service Policy, HR Professionalism, Infrastructure, Public Service Information System (SIPP), Consultation and Complaints, and Service Innovation. “We hope that these six aspects can be fully fulfilled,” he said.
“When we talk about evaluating the performance of public service delivery, we really hope that with all the existing limitations, this evaluation is able to create public servants who can become role models or pilots for other public service providers,” concluded Diah Natalisa.
