It was said that the commemoration of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day this time raised a big theme: “Unite, Rise, and Grow”.
“This theme is taken to reaffirm the commitment that has been built by the youths who were pledged in 1928 in the Youth Pledge that only with unity can we realize the ideals of the nation,” said the Vice Governor.
“The theme “Unite, Rise and Grow” is actually intended for all elements of the nation, but for youths, it is important because it is in the hands of the youths that we hope that Indonesia can rise from adversity due to the pandemic and move forward to drive economic growth in Indonesia,” he added.
Therefore, this HSP is expected to further strengthen the sense of unity and oneness. “The momentum of the Youth Pledge Day which we commemorate today must be able to become the glue of our unity as a nation to rise together against the pandemic and realize solid economic growth through youth entrepreneurship,” hoped Vice Governor.
He also emphasized that the future of this nation is in the hands of the youths. However, the commitment to the unity and integrity of the youths is the main capital to be able to overcome various obstacles and challenges of the nation going forward, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the era of globalization.
“Unity is an absolute requirement for a leap of change and facing various challenges. In the future, the challenges for Indonesian people, especially for the youths, will certainly not be any lighter. However, with a commitment to unite in diversity, it will become social capital in facing various obstacles and challenges of the nation in the future,” concluded the Vice Governor.
