Vice Governor Opens Regional Coordination Meeting on LPTQ and Training for Contingents of XXVI STQ in 2021
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Vice Governor H. Edy Pratowo opened Regional Coordination Meeting on Tilawatil Qur’an Development Institution (LPTQ) in Central Kalimantan and Training for Contingents of the XXVI National Tilawatil Qur’an Selection (STQ) in 2021. This event took place in Eka Hapakat Hall, Governor’s Office, Thursday (7/10/2021) afternoon.
In a report submitted by the Daily Chairperson of Central Kalimantan LPTQ H. Khairil Anwar, LPTQ and the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government should have held the XXIII STQ of Central Kalimantan in July 2021. Due to the spike in the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the implementation of PPKM, the committee discussed that the event would take place virtually. “However, due to various considerations and technical observations related to the virtual implementation, it had come to the conclusion that it had to be canceled and abolished,” explained Khairil Anwar.
Even though the Central Kalimantan STQ was canceled and amid limitations, Central Kalimantan LPTQ still prepared the Central Kalimantan contingents to take part in the XXVI National STQ in Sofifi City, Tidore Island, North Maluku Province. The contingents will depart on October 12, 2021. Previously, they took part in two stages of virtual and face-to-face training.
“On behalf of myself and the management of Central Kalimantan LPTQ, I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation for the full assistance and support from the Governor/Vice Governor for efforts to improve and develop the performance of Central Kalimantan LPTQ,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo welcomed the coordination meeting to be part of strengthening/sharpening the LPTQ work program. To the contingents who participate in the training, the Vice Governor hoped that they would always maintain discipline, order, and cohesiveness during the training, so that they would be able to have a positive influence. Not to forget, the Vice Governor advised to always maintain health protocols while participating in the XXVI STQ in Sofifi City, North Maluku.
With the abolition of the 2021 Central Kalimantan STQ, both at the regency/municipality and provincial level, the Vice Governor also hopes that, through today’s coordination meeting, in addition to discussing on strengthening the LPTQ work program, it can also discuss the preparation of Central Kalimantan to host the implementation of the Central Kalimantan Provincial MTQ in 2022 as well as the technical management from regency/municipality budget.
The coordination meeting was attended by 48 people, consisting of elements from Regency/Municipality LPTQ management and committees and 13 contingents. Also present at the meeting were Provincial Secretary Assistant for Government and People’s Welfare Hamka and Acting Head of the Bureau of Welfare Aryawan. (dew/dmr/translated by feb)
