Coordination Meeting on Research and Development of Science and Technology Supports Development of Research and Innovation for Central Kalimantan to be More Berkah
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin said that the Coordination Meeting on Research and Development of Science and Technology is very important to encourage various programs related to the development in Central Kalimantan.
This was stated by the Acting Provincial Secretary, Nuryakin while giving his speech at the Opening of the Coordination Meeting on Research and Development of Science and Technology throughout Central Kalimantan in Bappedalitbang Office Hall, Palangka Raya on Thursday (11/11/2021).
“This 2021 Coordination Meeting on Research and Development of Science and Technology in Central Kalimantan is very important to be held so that together we can discuss strategic issues in order to discuss various programs and activities related to the Research and Development of Science and Technology in Central Kalimantan,” he explained.
The hybrid meeting carried a theme “Research and Innovation for Central Kalimantan to be More Berkah”. The event was held referring to the provisions of Law Number 23 of 2014 on Regional Government, namely developing research for competitiveness and technological innovation in each region.
Furthermore, Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin said that the Research and Development of science and technology program requires Human Resources (HR) who are committed and thorough.
“I am really aware that in its implementation, it really requires hard work, smart work, sincerity, thorough work, and commitment from all of us in developing research and development of science and technology itself,” he explained.
On that occasion, Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin invited all meeting participants to share their perceptions through various research and development of science and technology activities in accordance with the visions and missions of the Governor and Vice Governor.
“I hope that all meeting participants will be able to share their perceptions, especially in facing the challenges of recovery in various fields of life after the Covid-19 pandemic, through various Research and Development of Science and Technology activities which have competitiveness and are environmentally friendly to be set into programs and activities that are in line with the strategic issues and in accordance with the visions and missions of the Governor and Vice Governor; Central Kalimantan is more Berkah,” explained Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin.
Also attending the coordination meeting were Head of the Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs Agus Fathoni, Deputy for Innovation Utilization of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Mego Pinandito, Chairman of the Regional Research Council (DRD) of Central Kalimantan Sulmin Gumiri, and Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency Yuren S.
