Attending Plenary Meeting, Deputy Governor Delivered Governor’s Response to Faction’s General Views of 3 Drafts of Regional Regulation
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo attended the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the First Session of 2022 via video teleconference from the Deputy Governor’s Meeting Room, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Friday (14/1/2022).
The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the First Session of 2022, which was held virtually, was chaired by the Deputy Chair of Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives (DPRD) Faridawaty Darland Atjeh and attended by 23 DPRD members. The plenary meeting scheduled the delivery of answers from Central Kalimantan Governor on the general views of the supporting factions of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives against 3 Drafts of Regional Regulation (Raperda).
The three drafts of regional regulation discuss the management of regional finances, reserve funds for the 2024 regional head election, as well as the development of the Indonesian language and the preservation of regional languages in Central Kalimantan province.
While reading the speech of Central Kalimantan Governor at the event, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo expressed his gratitude to the supporting factions of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives.
“I would like to thank all supporting factions of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives who in principle agree to the proposed drafts of regional regulation for further discussion with the applicable mechanism,” said the Deputy Governor.
On that occasion, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo revealed that the 3 Drafts of Regional Regulation were in accordance with the laws and regulations and took into account the principle of public interest.
“These three drafts of regional regulation have referred to and guided higher regulations and took into account the principle of the public interest, in accordance with the procedures for drafting laws and regulations. In the provisions of the preparation of laws and regulations, it is stated that the drafts of regional regulation submitted for discussion in the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives must be submitted with an Academic Paper and/or Explanation or Information,” said Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.
Furthermore, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo also said that if there are still things that are not clear, they will be discussed further at a joint working meeting of the Council Commission with the Regional Government.
“If there are still things that are not clear and even questions that have not been answered, then without prejudice to the applicable procedures and rules, the honorable Council agrees that these matters can be discussed further in a joint working meeting of the Council Commission with the Regional Government, according to the schedule that has been set,” said the Deputy Governor.
