Booster Vaccination Begins, Covid-19 Task Force Informed How to Register Independently

PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Province COVID-19 Task Force team, chaired by Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran, again released the progress of handling the COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday (13/1/2022) until 03.00 p.m. In this written release, the COVID-19 Task Force Team informed how to register for booster vaccination independently which was practical.
The Central COVID-19 Handling Task Force conveyed that, on January 12, 2022, the Government started the implementation of the booster vaccination program. To be able to register for this program, people can access PeduliLindung website at caringlindungi.id, then enter “Full Name” and “NIK”, and click check to display the status and vaccination ticket.
Then, another alternative method is to access PeduliLindung application on your cellphone, log in with the registered account and enter “Profile” menu to check the status and schedule of booster vaccinations in “Vaccination Status & COVID-19 Test Results” menu. After registering, vaccine tickets can be seen in the “History and Vaccine Tickets” menu.
The Central Kalimantan COVID-19 Handling Task Force asks the public to immediately register and receive this booster vaccination if they meet the requirements, such as those aged 18 years and over, especially the elderly, groups with immune problems, and those who had received the primary vaccine at least 6 months earlier.
The Central Kalimantan COVID-19 Task Force Team asked the entire community to play an active role in the success of the COVID-19 vaccination with the government and to continue to comply with health protocols and applicable policies. It must continue to be done so that everyone can avoid infection from COVID-19.
Furthermore, the Central Kalimantan COVID-19 Task Force Team also appealed that in addition to vaccination, the implementation of health protocols as a living habit is a demand in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Some people have complied with health protocols, but there are still others who lack the awareness to apply the 5M principles: wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.
5M’s healthy behavior is a very important prevention effort. Everyone must be willing and able to make changes to 5M compliance behavior, so as to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
Furthermore, in this release, the Central Kalimantan COVID-19 Handling Task Force Team conveys the accumulated data up to Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 03.00 p.m. Confirmation cases did not increase, so they remained 46,727 people.
There was an addition of 1 person recovered, namely in Katingan Regency, so from 45,128 people to 45,129 people. There was a decrease of 1 person under treatment, so from 9 people to 8 people. Meanwhile, the death rate did not increase, so it remained at 1,590 people, with a mortality rate (CFR) of 3.4%.
Then, the Task Force also mentioned the achievement of the vaccination target of 2,036,104. The realization of Dose I Vaccination at Central Kalimantan Province has reached 82.02%. All regencies/municipality have achieved above 70% of Dose I vaccination.
For the achievement of vaccinations for teachers and education personnel, High Schools (SMA), and equivalent vocational schools (SMK), the realization of PNS/GTT/PTT Vaccinations did not increase so that it remained at 6,258 or 79.01%. The first dose of SMA/SMK was not added, so it remained 73.202 or at 76.95%, and the second dose of SMA/SMK was not added, so it remained at 32,403 or 34.06%.
In addition, it was also informed that according to Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 02 of 2022 dated January 3, 2022 on the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities at Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 and Optimizing the Command Post for Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 at the Village and District Level to Control the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua, for districts/municipality in Central Kalimantan Province there are three criteria, namely Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 which are valid until January 17, 2022.
The regencies/municipality with these criteria are: Level 1 consists of East Kotawaringin, Kapuas, South Barito, North Barito, Seruyan, Lamandau, Gunung Mas, Pulang Pisau, and East Barito. Level 2 consists of West Kotawaringin, Katingan, Murung Raya, and Palangka Raya City. Then, for Level 3 is Sukamara.
The Central Kalimantan COVID-19 Task Force Team always reminds the entire community to remain disciplined in complying with health protocols and supporting Government’s efforts to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission. “For residents who are not aware of the health protocols, remember! Mandatory 5M: wearing masks, washing hands with soap in running water or cleaning hands with sanitizers, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility. Then, also to be disciplined in carrying out 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment) and immediately get vaccination so that more people are protected and this COVID-19 will end in Central Kalimantan and all over the world,” the Task Force Team urged.
