Covid-19 Task Force Delivers Circular Letter of Health Minister on Prevention and Control for Omicron Variant
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force delivered a Press Release for today, Saturday (22/1/2022), on the progress of handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Central Kalimantan until 03.00 p.m.
The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team, as well as the Central Covid-19 Handling Task Force, said that the Ministry of Health issued a provision in Circular Letter of the Minister of Health Number HK. 02.01/MENKES/18/2022 on January 17, 2022. In this provision, patients with confirmed Omicron variant may self-isolate as long as they meet clinical requirements, home requirements, and the patient is asymptomatic or only experiencing mild symptoms.
There are several clinical requirements that need to be met, including the maximum age for self-isolation is 45 years or younger and those who have no comorbidities, access to telemedicine or other health services, and a commitment to remain isolated before being allowed to leave. As for the requirements for the house, including having a separate room, it is better if the floor is separate, the bathroom is in a separate house from the other occupants of the house, and has a pulse oximeter.
If you cannot meet the clinical requirements and the house requirements, you must isolate yourself in a centralized isolation facility in a public facility prepared by the government or the private sector in coordination with the Health Service. In addition, during isolation the patient must be under the supervision of the local health center or task force.
The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team conveyed that the number of accumulated data on positive confirmed Covid-19 patients in Central Kalimantan increased by 1 person, bringing the total to 46738 people. There were no patients recovered, so the total remained 45141 people. And, there were no patients died, bringing the total to 1590 people.
He also conveyed the progress of the Covid-19 data that had been accumulated, as follows: there was an addition of 1 person for Confirmation Cases, namely in East Barito, so from 46737 people to 46738 people. No addition for recovery, so it remained 45141 people. There was an addition of 1 person under treatment, so from 6 people to 7 people. There were no additional cases of death, so there were still 1590 people, with a mortality rate (CFR) of 3.4%.
For Bed Occupancy in Hospitals (BOR), Intensive Beds did not experience a change in Bed Occupancy (0.00%), so that it remained 11.90%, where there was no Regency/Municipality with BOR above 50%, while Insulation experienced a decrease in Bed Occupancy (0.25%), so that from 1.38% to 1.13%, where there was no Regency/Municipality with BOR above 50%.
For the achievement of vaccination target of 2,036,104, the realization of Dose I Vaccination for Central Kalimantan Province has reached 85.06%. All regencies/municipality have achieved more than 70% of Dose I Vaccination. Furthermore, for the achievement of the vaccination target for teachers and education personnel, high schools (SMA), and equivalent vocational schools (SMK), there was no additional realization of PNS/GTT/PTT Vaccinations, so it remained at 6,258 or 79 0.01%, there was no addition of Dose I for SMA/SMK so that it remained at 73,202 or 76.95%, and there was no addition of Dose II for SMA/SMK so it remained at 32,403 or 34.06%.
According to Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 04 of 2022 dated January 17, 2022 on the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities at Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 and Optimizing the Command Post for Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 at the Village and Sub-District Levels to Control the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua, for regencies/municipalities in Central Kalimantan Province, there are two criteria, namely Level 1 and Level 2 (valid until January 31, 2022). The regencies/municipality with these criteria include: Level 1, covering West Kotawaringin, East Kotawaringin, South Barito, North Barito, Katingan, Gunung Mas, Pulang Pisau, Murung Raya, and East Barito; and Level 2, covering Kapuas, Seruyan, Sukamara, Lamandau, and Palangka Raya.
