Deputy Governor Attended Plenary Meeting of House of Representatives, Number of Achievements and Success is Appreciated
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo attended the 13th Plenary Meeting Closing Session III Year 2021 as well as the Plenary Meeting Opening Session I Year 2022 of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives virtually from the Deputy Governor’s Meeting Room, Governor’s Office, Wednesday (5/1/2022). Accompanying the Deputy Governor were the Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, and Head of Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency Kaspinor.
The plenary meeting was led directly by the Chairman of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives Wiyatno, followed by the Deputy Chairmen and 26 members of Central Kalimantan Provincial House of the Representatives DPRD members who attended the meeting virtually.
The chairman of DPRD, Wiyatno, in his speech appreciated a number of achievements and success achieved by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government during 2021. The success among others such as handling the spread of Covid-19, floods, and supporting the community health and economy. “The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and Regency/Municipality Governments, Indonesian National Armed Forces/ Indonesian Police, central representative agencies, and community components have succeeded in handling and controlling Covid-19, so that all Regencies/Municipality now are at level 2 except for Sukamara Regency which is still at level 3,” he said.
In addition, based on the data from the Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, Central Kalimantan’s vaccination achievement for dose I reached 77.13%, for dose II 46.72%, and was included in the top 10 national vaccination achievements. Meanwhile, the regional economy, although experiencing a slowdown, climbed up 3.57% in the third quarter of 2021.
“As the Central Kalimantan Province’s economic report for November 2021, we certainly need to congratulate all these achievements and success,” said Wiyatno, who hopes that success and increased progress will become the spirit in living 2022.
The Central Kalimantan House of the Representatives is committed to early guarding the various proposals and aspirations from community through accommodation of the main ideas collected from various recess activities, opinion hearings, and work visits, so that the aspirations of the people from the electoral regencies can be accommodated into regional development policies.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo started the Governor’s remarks which he read with the hope of keeping enthusiastic spirit in working as an effort to make Central Kalimantan more BERKAH. The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government has also made efforts to handle and prevent the spread of Covid-19 by collaborating to involve all parties, both elements of the government and all components of society.
The Governor through the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo also appreciated the entire series of plenary meetings, commission meetings, joint meetings, and scheduled hearings. “We believe if all parties can work well together and synergize, surely what becomes the common goal will definitely be realized, so that achievements will increase. Of course, this will greatly affect the welfare of the community and the progress of development in Central Kalimantan,” hoped the Governor. (dew/ben/trans.by feb)
