Leading Joint Roll Call, Governor Asked State Civil Apparatus to Improve Performance and Discipline
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Starting the first day of work after the 2022 New Year holiday, State Civil Apparatus (ASN) from all Provincial Government Institutions of Central Kalimantan participated in the Joint Roll Call at the Central Kalimantan Governor’s Office Courtyard, Monday (3/1). /2022). Governor Sugianto Sabran acted as the Inspector of the Joint Roll Call which was also attended by the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo and Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin.
Opening his remarks, Governor Sugianto expressed his gratitude for the achievements of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government throughout 2021, one of which was the survival made to overcome the big challenge, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, in which most development programs were focused on dealing with it.
Governor said that the Government had extended the status of the Covid-19 pandemic which was stipulated through Presidential Decree Number 24 of 2021 on Determination of the Factual Status of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic in Indonesia. The extension of the pandemic status was carried out because Covid-19, which is a Global Pandemic, is factually still happening and has not ended in Indonesia.
“For this reason, I ask all levels of Provincial Government Apparatus to continue to implement strict health protocols and complete the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination in Central Kalimantan,” the Governor asked.
Furthermore, the Governor said that in terms of macro indicators for Central Kalimantan Province development, the 2021 achievement for economic growth was 3.57% in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the third quarter of 2020. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people was 5.16%; Open Unemployment Rate of 4.53%; Gini Ratio of 0.323; and the Human Development Index of 71.25.
“In the future, we need to improve the achievement of these macro indicators in order to improve people’s welfare. We should also be proud and grateful to Allah SWT, God Almighty that during the Covid-19 pandemic, Central Kalimantan Province Original Revenue (PAD) during our leadership experienced a significant increase from year to year, far exceeding the RPJMD target of average growth, an average of 5% with the achievement of PAD realization as of December 27, 2021 of IDR 1.707 trillion or 14.9%,” he explained.
The governor also requested that this be maintained and improved with breakthroughs and innovations, considering that during the Covid-19 pandemic, transfer funds from the Central Government to the Regions tended to be reduced, so that PAD became the only source of development financing.
The Governor hopes that the New Year of 2022 will be the beginning of a new spirit to rise towards more BERKAH of Central Kalimantan as stated in the 2021-2026 RPJMD. The Governor also appealed to all levels of Central Kalimantan Provincial Apparatus to take strategic steps to accelerate the implementation of the 2022 APBD in accordance with their duties, functions and authorities and in line with the Vision and Mission of the Governor and Deputy Governor.
Ending his remarks, the Governor appealed to all State Civil Apparatus to maintain discipline, both in terms of attendance and cleanliness of their respective work environments. The results of the inspection last time showed that State Civil Apparatus’s discipline still needs to be improved, especially for Civil Servants who are supposed to be the roles for Contract Workers who are currently in the evaluation process.
