On Behalf of Governor, Deputy Governor Leads Kick Off for Signing of Contract for Procurement of Goods and Services in Central Kalimantan
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo led Kick Off for the Signing of Contract for the Procurement of Goods and Services in Central Kalimantan Province in 2022, Monday (17/01/2022), at Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office.
Governor Sugianto Sabran in his remarks read by the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo said that there were three important aspects to be targeted in the kickoff of this collective contract signing.
“This kickoff aims to follow up Instruction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2015 on the Acceleration of the Implementation of Government Goods/Services Procurement as well as to develop the activities of real sectors and to lead economic sector with reference to the development area unit, and also to accelerate regional development to improve the welfare of the people of Central Kalimantan through equitable economic development,” he said.
Furthermore, the Governor explained the need to develop activities in real sectors and the leading economic sector with reference to the development area unit.
“Regional-based development is intended not only to reduce disparities among regions, more than that, cluster-based development is also to create new jobs which further can reduce the number of the unemployed, equitable development by paying careful attention to the characteristics of each development area unit”, he said.
Based on data from the Provincial and Regency/Municipality Regional Revenue and Expenditures Budget (APBD) in Central Kalimantan in 2022, the priority of development programs and activities is at creating conducive and competitive economic conditions, directed at being able to attract new investors and private sector participation in order to create new jobs and reduce poverty and unemployment.
“To build a province that is so vast, with the characteristics and variety of problems that exist in the region, including the potential for large resources, a large source of development and funding is also needed. This is the importance of us doing it together, starting from the Regency/Municipality, Provincial, and Central Government level; we control which one has been well and which one has not been well yet for the evaluation in the future,“ concluded Governor Sugianto.
The data for the Kick Off for Goods and Services Procurement of Regencies and Municipality in Central Kalimantan for Fiscal Year 2022: the numbers of packages are 151, a ceiling of Rp 99 billion with a total contract value of more than Rp 76 billion. Furthermore, for the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Institutions, there are a total of 17 Regional Institutions (Offices, Agencies, and Bureaus) with a total of 299 packages and a contract value of more than Rp 110 billion.
Also being present at this activity were members of the Central Kalimantan Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, Assistant for Economics and Development Leonard S. Ampung, Heads of Provincial Government Institutions, Heads of Representative Agencies in Central Kalimantan, and priority contract partners.
