On Behalf of Governor Sugianto Sabran, Deputy Governor Inaugurated President Commissioner of PT Bank Kalteng for 2022-2026 Period
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor H. Edy Pratowo attended the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS-LB) and the Inauguration of the President Commissioner of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) of Central Kalimantan for the 2022-2026 period, located in Multipurpose Hall, Istana Isen Mulang, Palangka Raya on Wednesday (12/1/2022) afternoon.
This event was preceded by the EGMS which was then followed by the inauguration. On that occasion, on behalf of the Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Sugianto Sabran as the Controlling Shareholder of PT Bank Kalteng, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo officially inaugurated Fitriyadi as President Commissioner of PT Bank Kalteng for the 2022-2026 period, with 2 witnesses: the Mayor of Palangka Raya Fairid Naparin and Pulang Pisau Regent Pudjirustaty Narang.
The appointment of the President Commissioner of Bank Kalteng is based on Decree of the Deputy Commissioner for Banking Supervision 1 of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Number: KEP.71/PB.1/2021 on the results of the Capability and Compliance Assessment of Mr. Fitriyadi as a Candidate for Independent President Commissioner of PT Bank Kalteng.
Delivering written remarks from the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo congratulated and expressed hope to the President Commissioner of PT Bank Kalteng for the 2022-2026 period Fitriyadi to be able to further develop Bank Kalteng, especially in supporting development and the economy in Central Kalimantan.
“Hopefully the mandate entrusted to you can provide progress and development for PT Bank Kalteng and especially can contribute to economic growth in Central Kalimantan Province,” said Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.
Furthermore, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo also conveyed several directions from the Governor to the President Commissioner of PT Bank Kalteng Fitriyadi. First, to conduct supervision in a more effective way so that Bank Kalteng in its business processes can support the regional economy in accordance with the vision of the Regional Development Bank in general. Second, really pay attention to the steps and strategies to support the strengthening of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. Third, carry out better internal governance, including HR management, application of reward and punishment, improving the quality of work culture, and digitization. Fourth, Bank Kalteng should be able to become the main and leading supporter in encouraging the development of various leading economic sectors in Central Kalimantan Province.
“Provide credit that has a positive impact on economic growth in Central Kalimantan, for example: providing working capital, investment, MSMEs, providing KUR for farmers, support for PSN Food Estate and Shrimp Estate Program to support national food security and other productive sectors,” he concluded.
Also present at the EGMS and inauguration were the President Director of PT Bank Kalteng Yayah Diasmono, the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Bank Kalteng, as well as a number of relevant Heads of Provincial Government Institutions. Meanwhile, attending virtually via video conference were the Regents/Deputy Regents throughout Central Kalimantan Province.
Furthermore, after the EGMS and the Inauguration of the President Commissioner of Bank Kalteng, this event was also continued with an internal meeting which took place at Istana Isen Mulang for a special briefing from Governor Sugianto Sabran who had just finished attending other agendas.
