Responding to Latest Situation, Government is Adjusting Guidelines for Learning Implementation in Midst of Covid-19 Pandemic
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Public Communications Team for Covid-19 Handling Task Force of Central Kalimantan said that to respond to the latest situation, the government has adjusted the guidelines for the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“The change is that PPKM level 2 areas may carry out Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM) with 50% of students from classroom capacity. As for regions with other PPKM levels, they will continue to follow the provisions in the Joint Decree of the 4 Ministers,” explained the Task Force Team in a press release, Sunday (6/2/2021).
However, parents of students are given the option to allow their children to take part in the Limited PTM or Distance Learning (PJJ). This decision is stated in Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 2 of 2022 on the Discretion of the Implementation of the Joint Decree of the 4 Ministers on Guidelines for Implementation during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In today’s press release, the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team again urges the public to vaccinate, apply the 5M health protocol (wearing masks, washing hands with soap or cleansing hands with sanitizer, maintaining distance, reducing mobility, and avoiding crowds), and implementing 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment).
Furthermore, it also conveyed the development of the Covid-19 data that was collected and accumulated today, Sunday (6/2/2022), in which the Confirmation Cases added by 58 people, namely in Palangka Raya (35 people), Katingan (5 people), East Kotawaringin (4 people), West Kotawaringin (2 people), Lamandau (1 person), Seruyan (1 person), Pulang Pisau (3 people), Kapuas (5 people), and Gunung Mas (2 people), so from 46903 people to 46961 people.
There were 6 people recovered, namely 1 person in Kapuas, 2 people in Gunung Mas, 2 people in East Barito, and 1 person in Murung Raya, so from 45156 people to 45162 people. There were 51 people under treatment, so from 156 people to 207 people. And, there was 1 patient died in Gunung Mas, so from 1591 people to 1592 people, with a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 3.4%.
Regarding Bed Occupancy in hospitals or Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Intensive Beds did not change in Bed Occupancy (0.00%), so that it remained 26.83%, where there were no regencies/municipality with BOR above 50 %. Meanwhile, Isolated Beds experienced an increase in Bed Occupancy (0.09%), so that from 2.88% to 2.97%, where there was no Regencies/Municipality with BOR above 50%.
Meanwhile, regarding the achievement of the vaccination target of 2,036,104, the realization of Dose I Vaccination for the Central Kalimantan Province level has reached 89.22%. All Regencies/Municipality have achieved Dose I Vaccination above 70%. (ran/transl.by feb)
