Central Kalimantan Governor Welcomes Visit of Coordination and Supervision Team of Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran attended the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) in 2021, at the Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Tuesday (15/3/2022) morning.
This event was attended by the Director of Coordination and Supervision Region III of the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia Brigadier General Bahtiar Ujang Purnama and the Head of the Coordination and Supervision and Prevention Task Force Region III Edi Suryanto along with several team members.
Meanwhile, also attending this activity were the Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Inspector Saring, Senior Expert Auditor of the Inspectorate Sapto Nugroho, and a number of relevant heads of regional government institutions.
In his direction, Governor Sugianto Sabran welcomed the visit of the Corruption Prevention Team for Region III to Central Kalimantan to provide assistance and guidance in realizing clean, accountable and corruption-free governance. “We are glad to be directed, guided, and constantly reminded,” said the Governor.
Governor Sugianto Sabran also asked all regional government institutions of Central Kalimantan especially those related to the 8 areas of intervention to prevent corruption, to cooperate and work well with the Corruption Eradication Commission Team.
“Again, I am glad to welcome the activities initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission in Central Kalimantan, especially today’s activities. I ask all regional governmet institutions to be transparent to the Corruption Eradication Commission team and be opened to ask for any inputs and solutions,” said Governor Sugianto Sabran.
Furthermore, Governor Sugianto Sabran also stated the readiness of Central Kalimantan Province if it was trusted as a location for organizing the Corruption Eradication Commission activities on a national scale. “If we are qualified of being the host, we are ready to host the Corruption Eradication Commission event in Central Kalimantan regarding to any activities related to eradicating corruption,” said Governor Sugianto Sabran.
Furthermore, the Governor requested the help of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission in collaboration with APIP and APH to be able to supervise several multi-year strategic infrastructure programs, including the construction of a Type B Hospital in Hanau District, the High Prosecutor Office and the Big Roundabout.
“We also have multi years programs at several points, in terms of quality, I ask for help to monitor closely,” concluded Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran. (set/ben/transl.feb)
