Deputy Governor Released Central Kalimantan Delegation to Compete in The XI FASI at National Level
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo symbolically released the Central Kalimantan delegation to take part in the XI Indonesian Saleh Children Festival (FASI) at the National Level, located in Tan’im Hall, Second Floor of Al Mabrur Hajj Dormitory, Palangka Raya, Tuesday (22/3/2022) afternoon.
The event for the release of the Central Kalimantan Delegation to take part in the XI FASI at the National Level took the theme “Central Kalimantan Delegation’s Ready to Win the Top 10 for Central Kalimantan More BERKAH” and the sub-theme “BKPRMI Central Kalimantan’s Determined to Eradicate Al-Qur’an Illiteracy, Save the Morale of Indonesian Children, Make Central Kalimantan more BERKAH (Dignified, Beautiful, Religious, Strong, Trustworthy, and Harmonious)”.
In his remarks read by Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo, Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran said that FASI activities are full of worship and aqidah values for the early age generation. “Of course, it is our main task in an effort to save the morale and mental health of Indonesian generation, so that children can be well preserved, especially from various negative influences in the midst of globalization,” explained the Governor.
The governor hopes that FASI will become a forum for establishing Ukhuwah Islamiyah and developing the quality of children’s education. “Apart from being a vehicle for performing creativity competitions for outstanding students, this FASI activity is of course also expected to be a forum for establishing Ukhuwah Islamiyah and developing the quality of children’s education towards the birth of a nation that is reliable, tough, has good ethics, motivation, morale and personality, and good character, so that they can become winners in global competition with dignity,” hoped the Governor.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the children from the regencies/municipality who have been elected to be part of the Central Kalimantan Delegation in the XI FASI event at the National Level in Palembang, South Sumatra on 24-27 March 2022. The Governor also expressed his gratitude to the team of officials who has been educating the children of the Central Kalimantan Delegation.
In addition to encouraging the Central Kalimantan delegation to compete at the National Level, the Governor also reminded the participants to always obey the Covid-19 health protocols in an effort to make Central Kalimantan proud. “I ask the delegation leaders and officials to always monitor and supervise the children and also maintain their health, and continuously motivate them so that they can present the best achievements and make Central Kalimantan proud. I also remind all of us to continue to comply with health protocols, even though the current pandemic has slowed down,” the Governor ordered through Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.
In the interview session on the sidelines of the activity, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo said that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government would provide bonuses for outstanding participants, which is one of the efforts to stimulate the enthusiasm of the participants. However, the Deputy Governor emphasized that the most important thing is that the children participating in FASI can meet and stay in touch with their friends from various regions throughout country.
Being present to accompany the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo in the event were the Governor’s Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources, Suhaemi, the Chairman of the Provincial Management Board of the Youth Communications Agency of the Indonesian Mosque (BKPRMI) Central Kalimantan, Rus’ansyah, General Secretary of DPW BKPRMI Central Kalimantan Ilham Busyra HB, General Treasurer of DPW BKPRMI Central Kalimantan Murniasih, as well as Regional Director of the Development Institution, Development of the Al-Qur’an Kindergarten (LPP-TKA) DPW BKPRMI Central Kalimantan Abdul Majid.
Chairman of the Central Kalimantan BKPRMI DPW Rus’ansyah in his speech conveyed his commitment to the success of this 3-year event. “We, as administrators, remain committed to the success of this National Level FASI and the success of the Central Kalimantan delegation so that it can perform optimally in Palembang and hopefully get optimal results as well,” he hoped.
Rus’ansyah expressed his gratitude to the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Central Kalimantan Province, and other relevant parties for the morale and material support for the Central Kalimantan delegation to compete in the FASI event.
Meanwhile, Regional Director of LPP-TKA DPW BKPRMI Central Kalimantan Abdul Majid reported that the Central Kalimantan delegation at the National Level FASI this year was 131 people, consisting of 40 participants, 18 officials, 11 DPW administrators, 32 companions, and 30 travelers.
This Central Kalimantan delegation consisted of 8 regencies and 1 municipality (Murung Raya Regency, North Barito Regency, East Barito Regency, South Barito Regency, Kapuas Regency, Pulang Pisau Regency, East Kotawaringin Regency, Sukamara Regency, and Palangka Raya).
The branches of the competition which are followed by Central Kalimantan delegation are: (1) the Al-Qur’an Kindergarten (TKA) category, consisting of Tartil, Nasyid, Al-Qur’an Intelligence, Prayer Demonstration, Coloring Pictures, and Islamic Lectures; (2) Category of Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA), consisting of Tartil, Adhan, Iqomat, Nasyid, Al-Qur’an Intelligence, Drawing, and Islamic Lectures; and (3) the category of Ta’limul Qur’an Lil Aulad (TQA), consisting of Recitation, Tahfidz Juz Amma, Al Qur’an Intelligence, Islamic Stories, Calligraphy, and Islamic Lectures.
