Governor: Let’s Realize Central Kalimantan Free of Corruption
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, representing the Central Kalimantan Governor officially opened the Coordination Meeting on Integrated Corruption Eradication throughout Central Kalimantan Province, at the Jayang Tingang Hall, Second Floor, Governor’s Office, Monday (14/3/2022).
In the speech read by Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran expressed his highest appreciation to all stakeholders who attended this coordination meeting held in hybrid manner while still prioritizing health protocols.
The Governor also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the synergy and coordination of all parties to create conducive conditions to realize Central Kalimantan free from corruption through integrated corruption prevention efforts in Bumi Tambun Bungai.
The governor also revealed that the average achievement of the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) in 2021 for Central Kalimantan Province was quite high and reached 92.92%. These achievements include 95.8% of Regional Budget; Procurement of Goods and Services 93.64%; Licensing 95.71%; APIP strengthening 97.27%; State Civil Apparatus Management 80.77%; Optimization of Local Tax 99.56%; and Regional Asset Management 82.60%.
When compared to the 2020 achievement which was 82.78%, the 2021 achievement increased by 10.14%.
Meanwhile, the Governor added, the MCP achievement in 2021 for the Regional Government level throughout Central Kalimantan is 77% or an increase of 13% when compared to 2020 which reached 64%.
“Therefore, I urge this matter to be maintained and further enhanced to realize Central Kalimantan free from corruption,” said the Governor in his remarks read by the Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin.
Furthermore, said the Governor, the Compliance Level of the 2021 LHKPN (State Officials Assets Reports) for the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is 100% with a total of 485 people required to report. Meanwhile, the Compliance Level of Central Kalimantan Regional Governments is 94.85% or an increase of 3.73% from 2020 which was 91.12%. Meanwhile, the 2021 LHKPN Compliance Level of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives is 77.78%, with a total of 45 people required to report as of March 9, 2022.
Furthermore, as an effort to improve performance, especially in the achievement of the 8 intervention areas, the Governor asked all relevant stakeholders, both in the Provincial Government and Regency/Municipality Governments, to play an active role in accordance with their respective capacities in supporting and implementing corruption prevention and eradication programs in their respective areas.
The governor also asked all entities that have responsibilities and roles in achieving the 8 intervention areas to immediately accelerate performance in order to optimize and maximize performance in accordance with the established indicators.
Finally, the Governor requested that preventive measures be prioritized through good coordination and communication among agencies to strengthen the synergy of local governments in preventing and eradicating corruption in Central Kalimantan.
Being present at the Jayang Tingang Hall were the Daily Executive of Deputy for Coordination and Supervision or the Director of Coordination and Supervision Region III Corruption Eradication Commission Brigadier General Bahtiar Ujang Purnama and Head of the Corruption Eradication Commission Region III Coordination and Supervision and Prevention Task Force Edi Suryanto. In addition, the Chair of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives, Head of Central Kalimantan Financial Supervisory and Development Board Representative Office, Central Kalimantan Provincial Inspector, Central Kalimantan Regents/Mayor, Chair of Central Kalimantan Regency / Municipality House of Representatives, as well as Regional Secretaries and Regency / Municipality Inspectors throughout Central Kalimantan.
