Having been Vaccinated with Second Dose and Booster, Domestic Travelers are not Required for RT-PCR Test or Antigen Rapid Test
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Public Communications Team of the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force referring to the Central Covid-19 Task Force said that based on Covid-19 Task Force Circular No. 11 of 2022 concerning Travel Provisions for Domestic Travelers during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic Period, then as of March 8, 2022, the air, sea, and land transportation modes for domestic travel or Domestic Travelers (PPDN) are not required to show negative result of the RT-PCR or antigen rapid test if they have received the second dose of vaccination or the third dose of vaccination (booster).
Meanwhile, if a person has just received the first dose of vaccination, is in special health conditions, or has a comorbid disease so the person cannot receive the vaccination, then the person must show negative result of the RT-PCR test a maximum of 3 x 24 hours or an antigen test a maximum of 1 x 24 hours before departure.
“Keep complying with health protocols during travel, wear masks, maintain distance and avoid crowds, and wash hands with soap or use hand sanitizers,” the Task Force Team urged in a press release Tuesday (8/3/2022).
The Task Force team also urges the public to be willing to be vaccinated and support the government’s vaccination program and implement 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment).
Furthermore, in today’s press release, the Task Force Team conveyed the Covid-19 data for Central Kalimantan up to Tuesday (8/3/2022): there were 154 Confirmation Cases, namely in Palangka Raya (58 people), Katingan (2 people), East Kotawaringin (13 people), West Kotawaringin (6 people), Lamandau (7 people), Sukamara (2 people), Seruyan (9 people), Pulang Pisau (12 people), Kapuas (13 people), Gunung Mas (6 people), South Barito (12 people), East Barito (5 people), North Barito (7 people), and Murung Raya (2 people), so from 54779 people to 55933 people.
There were 442 people recovered, namely in Palangka Raya (209 people), Katingan (29 people), East Kotawaringin (29 people), West Kotawaringin (14 people), Lamandau (9 people), Sukamara (6 people), Seruyan (9 people), Pulang Pisau (17 people), Kapuas (58 people), Gunung Mas (18 people), South Barito (19 people), East Barito (6 people), and North Barito (19 people), so from 49653 people to 50095 people.
There was a decrease of 291 patients under treatment, so from 3501 people to 3210 people. There were 3 death cases, namely 1 person in East Kotawaringin, 1 person in Seruyan, and 1 person in Kapuas, so from 1625 people to 1628 people, with a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 3.0%.
Regarding Bed Occupancy in hospitals or Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Intensive Beds decreased in Bed Occupancy (2.63%), so that from 50.00% to 47.37%, where there were 2 regencies and 1 municipality with BOR above 50%, namely East Kotawaringin Regency, West Kotawaringin Regency, and Palangka Raya. Meanwhile, Insulation Beds decreased in Bed Occupancy (2.17%), so from 19.71% to 17.53%, in which there were 2 regencies with BOR above 50%, namely Murung Raya Regency and South Barito Regency.
Regarding the achievement of the vaccination target of 2,036,104, the realization of Dose I Vaccination for Central Kalimantan Province has reached 93.10%. All regencies/municipality have achieved above 70% of Dose I Vaccination. (ran/transl.feb)
