Latest Update, Sinopharm Can Be Used in Booster Vaccinations
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Public Communications Team of the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force referring to the Central Covid-19 Task Force, said that the Ministry of Health updated the type of booster vaccine that can be given to the public through Ministry of Health Circular Number SR.02.06/ II/1188/2022 February 25, 2022.
In this latest update, Sinopharm is the 6th type of vaccine that can be used in booster vaccinations. “The vaccines used for booster doses are adjusted to the availability of vaccines in each region by prioritizing vaccines with the closest expiration date,” explained the Task Force Team in a press release, Friday (4/3/2022).
In addition to boosters, the Government also continues to encourage the implementation of primary dose vaccination to achieve the target. “Come on, hurry up and get vaccinated. Vaccines have been proven to provide more protection for the body and reduce the risk of serious illness or death due to Covid-19,” the Task Force Team urged.
The Task Force team also urges the public to always comply with the 5M health protocols (wearing masks, washing hands with soap or cleansing hands with sanitizer, maintaining distance, reducing mobility, and avoiding crowds) and doing 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment).
Furthermore, the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team conveyed the data of Central Kalimantan Covid-19 today, Friday (4/3/2022), in which the Confirmation Cases increased by 184 people, namely in Palangka Raya (62 people), Katingan (17 people), Kotawaringin East (6 people), West Kotawaringin (8 people), Lamandau (3 people), Sukamara (6 people), Seruyan (12 people), Pulang Pisau (4 people), Kapuas (19 people), Gunung Mas (7 people), South Barito (22 people), East Barito (4 people), North Barito (13 people), and Murung Raya (1 person), so from 54051 people to 54235 people.
There were 210 patients recovered, namely in Palangka Raya (70 people), Katingan (25 people), East Kotawaringin (29 people), West Kotawaringin (2 people), Lamandau (3 people), Sukamara (2 people), Seruyan (10 people), Pulang Pisau (23 people), Kapuas (68 people), Gunung Mas (8 people), South Barito (22 people), East Barito (5 people), and Murung Raya (5 people), so from 48482 people to 48692 people.
Meanwhile, there were 28 patients decreased under treatment, so from 3951 people to 3923 people. And, there were 2 death cases, namely in East Kotawaringin (1 person) and in Gunung Mas (1 person), so from 1618 people to 1620 people, with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 3.0%.
Regarding Bed Occupancy in hospitals or Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Intensive Beds experienced a decrease in Bed Occupancy (2.56%), so that from 43.59% to 41.03%, where there were 3 regencies/municipality with BOR above 50% namely East Kotawaringin Regency, West Kotawaringin Regency, and Palangka Raya. Meanwhile, Isolated Beds experienced an increase in Bed Occupancy (0.46%), so from 18.54% to 19.00%, where there are 3 regencies/municipality with BOR above 50%, namely Murung Raya Regency, Kotawaringin Regency East, and South Barito Regency.
Then, related to the achievement of the vaccination target of 2,036,104, the realization of Dose I Vaccination for the Central Kalimantan Province level has reached 92.61%. All regencies/municipality have achieved above 70% of Dose I Vaccination. (ran/transl.feb)
