Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Attended National Development Planning Conference
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo attended the 2022 National Development Planning Conference virtually from Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Thursday (28/4/2022).
The 2022 Conference which was held online discussed the preparation of the 2023 Government Work Plan with the theme “Increasing Productivity for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation”.
The event was attended by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by a number of Ministers of Onward Indonesia Cabinet, including the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of National Development Planning Agency Suharso Monoarfa, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.
While delivering a briefing at this event, President Jokowi said that the global economic and political situation was full of uncertainty.
“This year and next year we will face something that is not easy. The global economic and political situation is experiencing turbulence filled with uncertainty,” said the President.
President Jokowi invites all parties to have the right anticipatory steps.
“We have to be well prepared if this crisis continues into next year. We need to have a sense of crisis, not as usual,” he said.
Furthermore, the President conveyed the importance of preparing careful planning to face the development of the global situation.
“We must have good planning, there must be the right scenario in dealing with uncertain situations,” he added.
Being present at this event were the Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Assistant for Economics and Development Leonard S. Ampung and other heads of related regional government institutions. (rik/fen/fer/transl.feb)
