PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo opened the Team Meeting on Budget Realization Evaluation and Monitoring (TEPRA) for the first quarter of 2022, at Eka Hapakat Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya, on Wednesday (20/4/2022).
On that occasion, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo explained that the meeting which was attended by Provincial and Regency/Municipality TEPRA managers throughout Central Kalimantan was held in order to evaluate the implementation and achievements of development realization in the first quarter of 2022.
“Today’s TEPRA Coordination Meeting is to evaluate the results of the implementation of the development plan in the form of realization and development information, both financial and physical sourced from the Regional Budget and National Budget,” explained Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.
Through the TEPRA meeting, it is hoped that it will further strengthen the coordination and synergy of all stakeholders in an effort to optimize the realization or absorption of the budget which in turn will be able to encourage the development and regional economy. “The use of allocation (budget) must be effective and can move the economy activities in regions,” said the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan.
Furthermore, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo asked regional government institutions at the provincial and regency/municipality level, especially those whose realization achievement is still low, to continue to improve budget management, so that they can support the achievement of realization targets that have been set every quarter of budget execution.
The emphasis is also on the procurement of goods and services. “Procurement of government goods and services must be on time, even a slight delay can reduce the percentage of economic growth in regions, especially infrastructure spending which is very sensitive to time,” concluded Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo.
Being present at the meeting were a number of Deputy Regents, Assistant for Economics and Development Leonard S. Ampung, and Head of Development Administration Bureau Istani. (set/ben/transl.feb)
