In his speech read by Assistant for Government and People’s Welfare Katma F. Dirun, the Provincial Secretary revealed that in the context of developing the Central Kalimantan Province Local Catalog, dissemination was carried out with the aim of disseminating information to stakeholders.
“In addition, in an effort to encourage and support the Local Catalog of Central Kalimantan Province to be more developed, in terms of the number of proposed commodities, it is hoped that it will increase the involvement of local catalog providers, as well as the support of Regional Government Institutions/Agencies to support the existence of the Local Catalog by means of transactions and purchasing goods in the Central Kalimantan Local Catalog,” he said.
Furthermore, the Provincial Secretary explained that currently the Central Kalimantan Local Catalog is still in the process of being announced and will involve catalog providers in the implementation process.
“For this reason, each Regional Government Institution should participate in encouraging Local Catalog business actors as partners of each Regional Government Institution /Agency to take part in registering in accordance with Central Kalimantan Province Catalog commodities,” he said.
Currently, the storefront has 10 commodities, including the Official Clothing, Cleaning Services, Ready Mix Concrete, Asphalt, Security Services, Vehicle Services, Materials, Basic Materials, Stationery, and Food and Beverages.
“Let’s take advantage of this dissemination to increase the capacity and capability of Local Catalog Managers in UKPBJ at Regency/Municipality level in order to obtain information on how to continue the Local Catalog process after the establishment of the storefront, announcement, and registration of prospective Local Catalog providers until the Local Catalog process is broadcast,” concluded the Provincial Secretary through the Assistant Katma F.
