Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Held Technical Assistance for Formulation of Regional Poverty Reduction Plan
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan through the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency held a Technical Assistance activity for the Formulation of the Regional Poverty Reduction Plan (RPKD) for 2022.
The Technical Assistance activity was opened by the Governor’s Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources Suhaemi, who was present on behalf of the Provincial Secretary, Nuryakin. This event was held in the Office Hall of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency, Palangka Raya, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
This activity was a follow-up to Regulation of Home Affairs Minister Number 53 of 2020, in which one of the tasks of the Provincial and Regency/Municipality Governments through the Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPK) is to formulate a Regional Poverty Reduction Plan (RPKD), involving cross-sectoral Regional Government Institutions.
Provincial Secretary Nuryakin in his written speech read by the Governor’s Expert Staff explained that RPKD is a regional development policy plan in the field of poverty reduction, through strategies and programs that are elaborated into the Annual Action Plan (RAT). The RPKD contains the General Condition of the Region, the Regional Poverty Profile, Program Priorities, and Priority Locations.
“The RPKD that is prepared later is expected to provide a solution in controlling and reducing poverty in Central Kalimantan Province,” said Provincial Secretary Nuryakin through the Governor’s Expert Staff, Suhaemi.
Through this Technical Assistance activity, it is hoped that the Provincial and Regency/Municipality TKPKs throughout Central Kalimantan will be able to immediately follow up and start preparing the Central Kalimantan Provincial RPKD. It was also emphasized that the preparation of this RPKD required the support and synergy of all members of the TKPK Team.
“The preparation of the RPKD must be completed in a short time and on time, through cooperation and involvement of regional officials as part of the Regional Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPKD),” he concluded.
The Technical Assistance Activity for the Preparation of the RPKD presented resource persons, namely the Specialist for Coordination of the Central-Regional Government of the Regional Advocacy Unit, the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) of the Secretariat of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Edi Safrijal.
Also attending the event were the Head of Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency of Central Kalimantan Kaspinor, Heads of Regional Government Institutions of Central Kalimantan Province as members of the Central Kalimantan Province Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPK), and Heads or the representative of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency of Regency and Municipality.
