PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. In line with the Vision and Mission of Governor Sugianto Sabran and Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo, one of which is Accelerating the Development of Smart, Healthy, and Competitive Human Resources, the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan always strives to build healthy human resources. As one of the efforts to build healthy resources, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government ensures that Health Insurance and access to health services are affordable for the people of Central Kalimantan Province. This is considered the need for good support and cooperation from all stakeholders.
In implementing the Health Insurance Program, especially in Central Kalimantan Province, the Partnership and Communications Forum of Key Stakeholders are expected to be a forum to facilitate the government, health facility management, and all related stakeholders in supporting the JKN-KIS program so that it can run optimally. This was conveyed by the Provincial Secretary Nuryakin in his remarks read by the Assistant for Economy and Development Leonard S. Ampung at the Partnership and Communications Forum of Key Stakeholders of Central Kalimantan Province in 2022, Thursday (16/06/2022), taking place in the Eka Hapakat Hall, Central Kalimantan Governor’s Office.
“I hope that all of us are committed to further strengthening synergies and collaborations in an effort to provide the best health services to all communities, especially in the Central Kalimantan Province,” said the Provincial Secretary.
Furthermore, the Secretary also hopes that through the synergy and collaboration that has been built, other noble ideas can be born that can support the creation of a civilized Indonesian society and create Central Kalimantan Berakhlak, full of BERKAH.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of BPJS Kesehatan of East-Central-South-North Kalimantan Region, Prio Hadi Susatyo, who was present virtually said that the JKN KIS program is one of the government’s strategic programs that goes directly to communities. The government is consistent in monitoring the progress of the JKN KIS implementation. In the RPJMN, it was also stated that the government’s target in 2024 is that the Indonesian people who have become JKN are expected to reach 98%.
“To oversee this, at the beginning of 2022, the President through the Presidential Regulation assigned all existing Ministries/Institutions to make efforts to optimize the JKN program, including BPJS Kesehatan. As for the Governors and Mayors, the instructions are not only to ensure coverage reaches 98%, but also how the JKN program must be ensured to run well and continuously,” he said.
In addition, the Presidential Instruction also asks to ensure that the services provided to JKN participants are truly quality services.
“We would like to thank the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and Regional Apparatus as well as associations, health facilities, and other partners in Central Kalimantan. Because, in Central Kalimantan, up to May, the coverage reached 92.19% or around 2,448,939 people of Central Kalimantan who have been registered in JKN KIS,” concluded Prio Hadi Susatyo.
