Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Supports Bhayangkara Off Road as Tourism Promotion Event
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan supports the Bhayangkara Off Road 4WD activity in the commemoration of the 76th Bhayangkara Day. This activity was expected to be able to revive the community’s economy and also promote tourism in Central Kalimantan.
“To revive the economy of people throughout the archipelago, especially in Central Kalimantan and increase unity and integrity,” said Governor’s Expert Staff for Economics, Finance and Development Yuas Elko, representing the Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Sugianto Sabran at the Barigas Field of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Thursday (23/6/2022).
This activity, said Yuas Elko, also proves that the tourism area in Central Kalimantan is feasible and safe to visit after recently being closed for tourist visits due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world and Indonesia in particular.
“To encourage this, the community’s economy will rise again. By going through an agenda like this, they will go to Tanjung Puting, which means the area is safe, and has no longer Covid,” he said.
Meanwhile, Central Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General of Police Nanang Avianto in his speech said this activity was a tourism promotion event to support the economic recovery of community.
“I would like to raise the pride of the people of Central Kalimantan, one of which is the Tanjung Puting National Park. I’d checked there and it was banned, closed. But I see that tourism potential activities here can come back to life and I also introduce this to my colleagues from all those present who participated in this activity,” he said.
