Deputy Governor Attends Launching of Talawang Mart Korem 102/Pjg and Invite All Elements to Drive Economic Recovery of Central Kalimantan
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo attended the launch of Talawang Mart held by Korem 102/Pjg at the Jasa Kartika Cooperative Courtyard, Jalan Damang Lemang, Friday (10/6/2022). Previously, the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo and the Military Regional Command 102/Pjg Brigadier General Yudianto Putrajaya also released participants for the Friday Jogging Jumat Berkah which was attended by the ranks of Korem 102/Pjg and banking staff in Palangka Raya.
Talawang Mart is a cooperative business transformation developed by Korem 102/Pjg in collaboration with BRI as well as a tangible manifestation of Indonesian National Military’s dedication in the context of national defense to help people’s burdens so as to create people’s welfare. This was stated by the Military Regional Command 102/Pjg Brigadier General Yudianto Putrajaya in his remarks.
Yudianto Putrajaya also said that in the future the Talawang Mart cooperative will operate purely business using digital transformation, not just selling basic necessities for other SME/UMKM commodities, including rice, transportation, diesel, oil, and fertilizers, all of which will be integrated in the future using digital transformation activities through applications.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo welcomed the idea of launching the Talawang Mart by Korem 102/Pjg. “This is in line with the hopes of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in the midst of a disrupted economic climate due to the Covid-19 pandemic, now it has started to rise. Well, this is the spirit and the same hope that we collaborate on how to drive the economy of the people of Central Kalimantan. I consider this activity is very good, extraordinary, and we need to give appreciation to the ranks of Korem 102/Pjg who are also supported by BRI,” said the Deputy Governor in his remarks.
Furthermore, the Deputy Governor hopes that this kind of activity should be followed by other institutions. “We continue to encourage enthusiasm to revive the economy, restore our economy, so that Central Kalimantan’s growth will be better,” said the Deputy Governor.
The launch was marked by pulling the Talawang Mart curtain by the Chair of the Central Kalimantan Dekranasda Ivo Sugianto Sabran who was also present on the occasion. Ivo Sugianto Sabran revealed that the presence of Talawang Mart is very good as a form of economic contribution after the pandemic in Central Kalimantan and is also a forum for members of Korem 102/Pjg to display and sell superior products that have gone through the curation of the Chair of Persit and are good for presenting local wisdom in Central Kalimantan.
“In the future, Dekranasda can collaborate regarding the coaching and training to improve product quality at Talawang Mart, so that these products can compete nationally and even internationally. We also help digital marketing through tokokaltengberkah.com,” said Ivo Sugianto Sabran in an interview with the media.
Being present at the event were the high officials of Korem 102/Pjg, members of Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, Assistant for Economic Development Leonard S. Ampung, Deputy GM of BRI South Kalimantan, Head of Cooperative and SMEs in Central Kalimantan Province, Chair of Persit Kartika Candrakirana, and banking leaders in Central Kalimantan.
