Following Up Directions of Governor Sugianto Sabran, Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Held Dissemination and Training to Improve Regional Innovation Index
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan through the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency organized a Dissemination and Training of the Regional Innovation Index for 2022.
Assistant for Government and Public Welfare Katma F. Dirun, representing the Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Sugianto Sabran, opened the Dissemination and Training activity which was held in the Multipurpose Hall of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency on Thursday (9/6/2022).
The Dissemination and Training of the Regional Innovation Index or Innovative Government Award (IGA) was held in order to follow up on the direction of Governor Sugianto Sabran to increase the Regional Innovation category of Central Kalimantan Province in 2022.
The purpose of this dissemination and training is to provide understanding and same perceptions to all Regional Government Institutions about regional innovations that can be inputted for reporting the Regional Innovation Index. Then, to provide training to Regional Government Institutions on IGA application and input procedures.
Assistant Katma F. Dirun on that occasion explained that the achievement of the Central Kalimantan Regional Innovation Index was still not as expected, one of which was triggered by the lack of maximum capacity of regional officials in reporting innovations in their agencies.
“And, there are still many regional government institutions that already have innovations. However, it has not been reported, it has not been submitted to the Central Government, to the Ministry of Home Affairs,” explained Katma F. Dirun.
The Assistant for Government and Public Welfare also expressed Governor Sugianto Sabran’s hope that all Regional Government Institutions of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government can continue to make breakthroughs and innovations and then also optimally report to the IGA application of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
“The Governor of Central Kalimantan really hopes that all of us can always develop innovations in our respective regional government institutions, then also to be able to report all of our innovations regularly through the Central Agency for Research and Development for Regional Innovation of the Ministry of Home Affairs,” said Assistant Katma F. Dirun.
The Assistant further stated that the commitment to building various innovations was primarily to realize good and clean governance and continue to improve the quality of public services, not just to pursue the Innovative Government Award.
“The number one is in our framework to build good governance, which fulfills good principles, has transparency which can impact legal certainty, and so on. Then, have efficiency and effectiveness in public services,” concluded Katma F. Dirun.
The dissemination and training activity, which was attended by Regional Government Institutions and Representative Offices of Central Government in Central Kalimantan Province, presented resource persons from the Home Affairs Policy Strategy Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely the Middle Expert Policy Analyst Jonggi Tambunan and First Expert Policy Analyst Aldo Harjunanto.
