Recent Progress of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan, Number of Positive Cases Increased to 41 People, 46 People Recovered
PALANGKA RAYA – ADMINISTRATION LEADERSHIP BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team delivered information on the latest progress of Covid-19 data in Central Kalimantan province which was compiled until Monday (15/02/2021) at 03.00 p.m. (Western Indonesian Time).
The latest data on the distribution of Covid-19 cases is as shown in today’s chart, including an increase in the number of confirmations by 41 people, namely 21 people in Palangka Raya, 1 person in West Kotawaringin, 5 people in Kapuas, 2 people in Murung Raya, 2 people in North Barito, 4 people in South Barito, 1 person in Seruyan, 1 person in Lamandau, and 4 people in Katingan, so the total is now 12,801 people.
In addition, 46 people are recovered, namely 28 people from Palangka Raya, 4 people from West Kotawaringin, 6 people from East Kotawaringin, 2 persons from Murung Raya, 5 people from South Barito, and 1 person from Katingan, so there are 11,486 people recovered now.
Still under treatment, there was a decrease of 8 people from yesterday’s which was 985 people, so now 977 confirmed patients today are still undergoing treatment at a number of Covid-19 referral hospitals in Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the number of suspected cases reportedly increased by 1 person, from the previous number 145 people to 146 people. The distribution of suspected cases is in Palangka Raya (27 people), Katingan (3 people), East Kotawaringin (23 people), West Kotawaringin (8 people, Sukamara (1 person), Pulang Pisau (6 people), Kapuas (2 persons), Gunung Mas (9 people), South Barito (1 person), East Barito (13 people), Barito Utara (49 people), and Murung Raya (4 people).
The probable case has not changed, so it remains the same as yesterday’s number which is 65 people; 7 people from Palangka Raya, 12 people from Katingan Regency, 16 people from Kotawaringin Barat Regency, 1 person from Lamandau Regency, 1 person from Seruyan Regency, 10 people from Kapuas Regency, 3 people from South Barito Regency, 14 people from North Barito Regency, and 1 person from Murung Raya Regency.
Meanwhile, from the previous day, 335 people died, and as for today there are 3 more death cases, so it became 338. The three of them came from Katingan (1 person), West Kotawaringan (1 person), and East Kotawaringin (1 person). The Case Fatality Rate (CFR) for Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan is still at 2.6%.
On various occasions, Central Kalimantan Province Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team has tirelessly reminded whole community to always be disciplined in implementing the 4M health protocols, namely wearing mask, washing hands, maintaining distance, and avoiding crowds.
