Governor Sugianto Sabran Attends The 3rd Regional Conference (Musda) of Dayak Customary Council (DAD) of Central Kalimantan Province
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran attends the 3rd Regional Conference (Musda) of Dayak Customary Council (DAD) of Central Kalimantan Province in Betang Hapakat House, Palangka Raya, Sunday (7/11/2021).
This event was held to convey the accountability report of the DAD Chair for the 2016-2026 Period as well as to elect a new Chair for DAD. The 3rd Regional Conference of DAD carried a theme “Knitting Diversity with the Philosophy of Huma Betang Based on Local Wisdom and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia”.
Chairperson of the Organizing Committee Andre Elia in his report stated that DAD of Central Kalimantan together with the existing mass organizations worked hand in hand to prepare this Regional Conference bringing hope that it would go well regardless of ethnicity, race and religion.
Meanwhile, H. Agustiar Sabran as the Chair of Central Kalimantan DAD said that this Regional Conference was a gathering event for the people of Central Kalimantan as well as a joint forum to discuss the problems that occurred, so as to be able to provide solutions to create peace and unity in Bumi Tambun Bungai and Central Kalimantan.
At the plenary meeting of the 3rd DAD Regional Conference, Agustiar Sabran was re-elected as the General Chair of Central Kalimantan DAD for the 2021-2026 Period accompanied by 5 other Formation Team members.
Governor Sugianto Sabran in his speech hoped that the elected DAD Chair will support equity in Central Kalimantan because the Dayak Customary Council is government’s strategic partner in developing Bumi Tambun Bungai to realize equitable development in the fields of education, health, infrastructure, and economy.
Also attending the event, Regional Military Commander 102/Pjg Brigadier General Yudianto Putrajaya, Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, Heads of Regional Government Institutions, Chair of Batamad, Damang Coordinators from 14 regencies/municipality throughout Central Kalimantan province, as well as Religious Leaders and other Community Leaders.
