Governor: Population Development Planning to Realize Central Kalimantan More BERKAH
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, representing Central Kalimantan Governor attended the Assistance for Preparation of the 5 Pillars of Population Planning Grand Design (GDPK) of Regency/Municipality in Central Kalimantan at Hotel Neo, Palangka Raya on Tuesday (18/1/2022).
The Grand Design of Population Development Planning is a policy direction as outlined in the 5-year program of population development in Indonesia to realize the target of population development in accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 153 of 2014.
While reading the remarks of Central Kalimantan Governor at the event, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah conveyed that the government appreciated the event of Grand Design of Population Development.
“The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government welcomes the preparation of the GDPK by mobilizing all Regional Government Institutions whose functions are related to the preparation of the GDPK to cooperate with each other in the preparation of the 5 Pillars of GDPK,” said Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah.
On that occasion, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah hoped that the event would generate a common perception and strengthen commitment in establishing the Grand Design of Population Development in Central Kalimantan.
“I really hope that this activity does not turn into a mere ceremonial and routine meeting, but should be able to generate a common perception and at the same time strengthen the commitment in preparing the Grand Design of Population Development at the provincial and regency/municipality level to encourage the Central Government and Regional Government continue to improve the quality of the process of preparing and utilizing the 5 Pillars of Grand Design of Population Development,” said Lies Fahimah.
Furthermore, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah also hopes that the event will be of high quality and provide benefits for population development planning in order to make Central Kalimantan more BERKAH.
“I also ask the resource persons to wholeheartedly provide valuable input for all participants, so that this activity is truly of high quality and produces useful results for population development planning in Central Kalimantan Province, in order to make Central Kalimantan more BERKAH,” concluded the Assistant for General Administration.
Also attending the event were the Director of Population Control Planning of National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) Munawar Asikin and the Head of Central Kalimantan Representative Office of BKKBN, Muhammad Irzal. (rik/trans.by feb)
