PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, representing the Acting Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Province received a working visit of Commission I of the South Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives to conduct a comparative study related to bureaucratic simplification, located in Bajakah Room, Governor’s Office, Friday (4/3/2022).

The purpose of the visit was, among others, to see the implementation or simplification of the existing bureaucracy in Central Kalimantan as mandated by the Central Government. It is hoped that the information from Central Kalimantan can be used as material in unraveling the simplification of the bureaucracy in the South Kalimantan Provincial Government. The visit was led by the Deputy Chair of the South Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives Hj. Mariana accompanied by Deputy Chair of Commission I Siti Noorita Ayu Febria R., Secretary of Commission I Suripno Sumas, as well as representatives from the Organizational Bureau of the South Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat.

On this occasion, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah welcomed today’s working visit which can also be a means of establishing friendship. Lies Fahimah explained that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government has followed up the process of equalizing positions within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government based on Letter of the Minister of Home Affairs regarding the simplification of the organizational structure within the regional government, Ministerial Regulation RB Number 17 of 2021, and Minister of Administrative Reform RB Number 25 of 2021.

Furthermore, it was explained that the process of simplifying the bureaucracy in Central Kalimantan was able to run well due to the communication and coordination between the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and Regency/Municipality Governments. Although it is recognized that there is turmoil because this is something new, the simplification of the bureaucracy has been responded positively and enthusiastically welcomed by the regency/municipality and government institutions within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government.

On this occasion, an agenda for bureaucratic simplification was also presented, starting with the identification of positions according to the modeling of Permenpan RB Number 25 of 2021. Along with communication with the Central Government, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government received references, especially in dealing with potential problems regarding employee career patterns. For this reason, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is very careful.

Furthermore, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government also reconciled data to anticipate errors. “We networked, coordinated harmoniously between related regional apparatuses long in advance, and encouraged all regional apparatuses to gain the same understanding (regarding functional positions). That’s what we need to do,” said Lies Fahimah.

Being present at the meeting were the Head of the Provincial Civil Service Agency of Central Kalimantan Lisda Arriyana, Acting Head of the Organizational Bureau of the Central Kalimantan Secretariat Lilis Suriani, and the Division Head of the Institutional and Position Analysis of the Central Kalimantan Secretariat’s Organizational Bureau, Betri Susilawati.
