Building Physical Fitness and Immunity, Ranks of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Do Workout
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo attended and participated in the morning workout with the High Leadership Officials and Administrators of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. The joint workout activity was held at the Isen Mulang Palace Courtyard, Palangka Raya, Friday (11/3/2022).
This joint workout was carried out to maintain physical fitness, increase immunity, and was also useful for training the body muscles, as well as improving blood circulation so that it is healthier and fresher.
In his remarks, the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo expressed his hope that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government’s Office/Agency/Institution could carry out joint sports activities on Friday mornings in their respective office environment, but still adhere to health protocols.
On that occasion, the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan also said that the Car Free Day (CFD) activities which are usually held on Sundays will be reopened, but with the rules that it will be carried out in open environments. This is done to provide opportunities for the community to exercise in order to maintain their health.
Meanwhile, Acting Provincial Secretary H. Nuryakin added that with the reopening of the car free day, the economy will recover because there are economic activities from traders and MSMEs on the car free day activities.
In addition to it, Acting Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan also emphasized that in the car free day activities, economic actors or MSMEs who are allowed to hold merchandise or sell must have received the Covid-19 vaccination. “Because there are economic activities there, the condition is that MSME actors who are allowed to hold their wares or sell their products must have received at least 2 doses of vaccine, and for those who have not received the second vaccine, we will prepare or give the vaccines at the car free day location even we will also prepare the booster vaccine,” he said.
The activity was carried out in accordance with the instruction of the Central Kalimantan Governor to all regencies/municipality to reopen car free day activities which will be carried out before the month of Ramadan, especially for Palangka Raya.
Also being present in the workout activities were the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, Acting Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan, as well as the High Leadership Officials and Administrators of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. (may/ben/transl.feb)
