PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government through the Regional Civil Service Agency held a Coordination Meeting for Organization and Civil Service in Central Kalimantan in 2022.
The coordination meeting was attended by the Acting Provincial Secretary, Nuryakin, at the Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Thursday (17/3/2022).
The implementation of this coordination meeting is a follow-up to the inauguration of administrative officials to become functional officials and in order to identify problems after the inauguration implementation as well as matters that are considered important and strategic in terms of organization and civil service in Central Kalimantan.
When giving his speech, the Acting Provincial Secretary said that a coordination meeting was held to follow up on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo on October 20, 2019, one of which was the need to simplify the bureaucracy to only 2 levels and replace or transfer the position to functional position based on expertise/certain skills and competencies.
“We have carried out the equalization of administrative positions into functional positions as part of the implementation of bureaucratic reform, as mandated by applicable laws and regulations, and it is hoped that there will be an increase in bureaucratic performance to be more agile, dynamic, and adaptive to the strategic environment,” said the Acting Secretary.
Furthermore, he hopes that this coordination meeting can identify and find solutions to problems after the implementation of the inauguration of administrative positions into functional positions through equalization of positions that arise, especially in the implementation of personnel administration.
“I invite all of us to convey the identification of problems that occur in each regional government so that we can have further discussion to find the best solution in order to achieve the objectives of implementing bureaucratic reform,” he said.
Being present at this coordination meeting were the Director of Institutional Facilitation and Regional Civil Service of the Ministry of Home Affairs Cheka Virgowansyah, Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, and Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency Lisda Arriyana.
