Representing Governor, Governor’s Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics Attended Inauguration of Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI

PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Representing the Central Kalimantan Governor, the Governor’s Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics Herson B. Aden attended the Inauguration of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Christian Youth Movement (GAMKI) of Central Kalimantan Province for the 2021-2024 term of service and opened a discussion activity and regional work meeting of Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI, Saturday (2/4/2022) at Aquarius Boutique Hotel, Palangka Raya.
The Central Kalimantan Governor in his remarks read by the Governor’s Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics Herson B. Aden said that he welcomed the inauguration of the Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI.
In addition, it was also conveyed, with the inauguration of the DPD GAMKI Management, it is hoped that the administrators have been given the mandate and are deemed capable of comprehensive responsibility in formulating, finalizing, implementing, and evaluating programs that can bring GAMKI into an organization that becomes a benchmark for development of Christian youth human resources in Central Kalimantan who have ethnic, religious and racial diversity.
The presence of GAMKI as an organization characterized by religion, youth, and intellect in Central Kalimantan is hoped that it will become an organization capable of preparing and producing young cadres who are superior, intellectual, adaptive, capable and agile, and capable of mastering technology that continues to develop without leaving the values of character, morals, and polite character based on religious teachings and norms that are generally accepted in society and can answer challenges in the rapid dynamics of the times.
Herson B. Aden also hopes that GAMKI will not become an exclusive organization, but can become an organization with a national perspective that is willing and able to synergize and work hand in hand with anyone to create and equip young people with skills and insights that are useful for their respective futures regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, or between groups, so that GAMKI is not only an organization that has an impact and benefits on the environment but also benefits globally for all young people in Central Kalimantan in particular and Indonesia in general.
It was also stated that the Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI can also initiate and play an active role in activities that foster and develop the spirit and values of religious moderation, religious harmony, tolerance, and religious activities that can increase love for the homeland and nation.
“I believe that the newly inaugurated management has the capacity and ability to bring the Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI to be able to contribute and synergize with the Regional Government in the development of Central Kalimantan in order to achieve our common goal, making Central Kalimantan Province more BERKAH,” he said.
In addition to the inauguration, a Work Meeting of the Central Kalimantan DPD GAMKI Management was also held, with the hope that the administrators would not only be able to formulate programs that were oriented towards the main tasks of the GAMKI organization, but also be able to construct programs of social and religious activities that are in line with the Central Kalimantan HR development that was launched. by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government.
“I hope that later in this Work Meeting, the administrators can formulate programs that are not only oriented to the main tasks of the GAMKI organization itself, but can also construct the programs of social and religious activities that are in line with the Central Kalimantan Human Resources development programs launched by the Government of Central Kalimantan Province,” he said.
Being present virtually at the inauguration ceremony were Deputy Minister of the Environment Alue Dohong and members of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia Agustin Teras Narang. Meanwhile, attending the event live were the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Central Kalimantan Province, Chairman of the Central Kalimantan House of Representatives represented by Freddy Ering, Representatives of members of Central Kalimantan Leadership Coordination Forum, General Chairperson of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Christian Youth Movement, and the Chair of the Central Kalimantan Province Inter-religious Harmony Forum (FKUB).
