Governor Sugianto Sabran Received Working Visit of Commission IX of Indonesian House of Representatives to Central Kalimantan
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran received a working visit of the Chair of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Felly Estelita Runtuwene along with the members, at Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Monday (18/4/2022).
The meeting of the Central Kalimantan Governor with Commission IX of DPR RI was related to the fields of health, employment, population, drug and food control, as well as social security.
During the meeting, they discussed the development of implementation of the vaccination program, the legislative process and the formulation of central government policies in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and economic recovery.
In his remarks, Governor Sugianto Sabran warmly welcomed the arrival of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives to the Land of Blessing, Central Kalimantan.
“I sincerely welcome the Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives to the Land of Pancasila, Land of Blessing, Central Kalimantan,” said the Governor.
Governor Sugianto Sabran said that there were at least 2 issues that needed to be addresses regarding the economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic, namely employment and health.
“Employment and health are the crucial issues happening in society,” explained the Governor of Central Kalimantan.
Governor Sugianto Sabran also emphasized the commitment of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to encourage economic recovery through employment programs.
“Local governments continue to strive to encourage comprehensive employment programs, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic,” concluded the Governor.
At the meeting, the life insurance program from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan was also symbolically handed over to 2 recipients of compensation.
Being present at the event were the Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo, Assistant for Economics and Development Leonard S. Ampung, Head of Health Office Suyuti Syamsul, and Head of Manpower and Transmigration Office Farid Wajdi. (rik/fen/transl.feb)
