As a concern for medical team, doctors and nurses who are at the frontline of handling Covid-19 (Corona), the Governor of Central Kalimantan Sugianto Sabran gave his encouragement to the medical team, doctors and nurses at Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya Hospital while also monitoring the Covid-19 handling room at the hospital after tarawih prayer at Governor’s office on Wednesday night (4/29/2020).

“Keep on spirit, keep health, and keep being heroes in helping others. We salute and appreciate the medical team and nurses in the efforts to handle and take good care of positive patients with Covid-19 who were treated at the hospital,” Governor Sugianto Sabran said as he visited the medical team on duty at the hospital on Wednesday night (4/29/2029), accompanied by the Director of RSUD Doris Sylvanus dr. Yayu Indriaty.

In addition to conducting the Covid-19 swab test at Doris Sylvanus Regional Hospital, Governor Sugianto Sabran also encouraged patients treated by the medical team in a number of rooms in the hospital to be strong in undergoing periods of isolation and healing stages.

“We pray for everyone, the patients and the medical team to be healthy and the positive patients get well soon. We also pray that this pandemic situation will pass quickly,” Governor Sugianto said.

The public was again invited to continue following the health protocol for handling Covid-19, following the rules of central and local governments, praying for the Covid-19 pandemic quickly passed, not going home/homecoming because without the support and cooperation of all parties in overcoming this virus, it will be difficult for the government to break the chain of Covid-19 spread.

On this occasion, the governor did not forget to pray for Palangka Raya Mayor, Fairid Naparin, who was confirmed Positive for Covid-19 and other patients to stay motivated and be immediately recovered so they could return to their families.

“Do not be afraid and ashamed to check yourself because this is not a disgrace. The faster you get examined, the faster it is handled or treated if the results are positive.
