Governor Distributes Masks for Truck Drivers and Communities in Kotim-Seruyan Border
SAMPIT – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. Governor of Central Kalimantan went directly to the field to distribute masks to public and truck drivers who crossed the border of East Kotawaringin and Seruyan, Thursday (4/23/2020).
In addition to observing Covid-19 Command Post in a number of regions, Governor Sugianto always reminded the public to use masks. “Because Corona is killing and spreading quickly,” explained the Governor, who had previously also handed over aid in form of masks at the Pelantaran and Sampit Post, East Kotawaringin.
The masks will later be distributed to public. “So people must wear masks because people must be disciplined to look after themselves and their families. If you love your family, you have to wear a mask, also wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water,” added the Governor.
Meanwhile, the Governor added, the Provincial Government has budgeted around Rp 300 billion for assistance for the socio-economic impact of Covid-19 in Bumi Tambun Bungai. (ran/ist/translated by feb)
